On my very first visit to this place, I was in quite a bit of pain. From what the young ladies on duty told me, the pain was caused by a filling gone bad. They prescribed a gel to help reduce the inflammation and the discomfort. After which, they said, I would need to get a root canal done.

The gel worked and I had some affection for the place, so I made a mental note to return to them **** * *** ***** ** **** **** *** *** ********

In less than a week the country went into lockdown to contain the spread of a pandemic and there was no question of visiting a dentist.

A few weeks ago I visited Dental Affection in excruciating pain. What resulted is the stuff of many nightmares in one.

I met with Gaurav Patel, the implant specialist who runs the clinic. He confirmed I needed a root canal. But as luck would have it, he found the filling had gone so bad, there was really no way to save the tooth. The only recourse was to get an implant.

The option for a denture was not presented. (I would gladly have opted for that given what I went through). This was the MOST painful experience I have undergone and I’ve been to dentists since I was a kid. ******* ** *** ****** ***** ** **** ***** *** ***** **** *** ******* ******** ** *** ******** I would NOT recommend him to the anyone. He has a good talk, ******* **** ****** ** *** ****** ***** **** ****** ****** ** ****** Let me explain.

Here's how I lost my trust in Dental Affection:

I had a 11:30am appointment on 24th November for the extraction and implant procedure. I chose an implant that costs INR 30,000. I got there in time, mentally prepared for the procedure.

It was not to be. I was told I needed to pay in advance since the implant needed to be ordered.

So the appointment was moved to 6pm that same day.

I asked if we could make it 6.30pm but it turns out that was too late for the clinic, which meant they would only be able to take an impression of my teeth that day and I would have to go back for the procedure. So I kept my 6pm appointment.

At the clinic that evening, I once again (like I'd done before) made a lengthy case about how I may need more than one anaesthetic injection administered. Like earlier dental procedures I'd had.

Gaurav outright refused to consider this, saying more anaesthetic shots would affect my heart rate and be dangerous.

As the procedure progressed and he witnessed first-hand that I could still feel pain and was not imagining it, he finally did give me another shot of the anaesthetic. * ****** **** **** *** ****** *** **** ***** ** ***** ***** **** ** ****** **** ****** ** *** ************ ***** ***** ** *** **** **** **** ******** ****** ********** *** **** ***** **** ******** ** *** ******* *** ** ****** **** ******** ******

It gets more harrowing:

There I was suitably numbed. The extraction done and the implant procedure still to come. That's the moment Gaurav chose to make me an offer.

He said I could go for the more enduring implant model, which costs INR 50,000 and that I could pay the difference of INR 20,000 in four months when I went in to get the crown put in. **** ********* ****** ** **** ** ***** ** * ******* ** ***** ***** ***** ** ****** *********** ***** **** ***** * *** ****** **** *** ** **** **** ** ****** **** **** ******** ***** *******

How is it the more expensive INR 50,000 implant was so readily at hand, while the INR 30,000 implant needed to be paid for and ordered in advance?

Then there is the matter of the impression of my upper jaw which was taken only after the extraction and the implant procedure was completed. So why could I not have come in at 6.30pm instead?

Once the implant is done, one is usually given a temporary tooth until the final crown is fixed after 4 months. This was to cost me an additional INR 2,000.

My advise to anyone who cares to read this is be aware and do NOT pay the entire amount upfront even if you have it.

As a first-time dental procedure patient, I was naturally scared and anxious. However, Dr. Gaurav Patel quickly eased my fears with their warm and approachable nature. He took the time to explain the entire procedure to me, step by step, ensuring I understood what was happening. This helped me feel more at ease and in control and I could faced one of my biggest fears all alone.

What impressed me the most was Dr. ‘s exceptional communication skills. They answered all my questions patiently and provided detailed explanations, keeping me informed at every stage. Their caring and compassionate approach made a significant difference in my overall comfort and confidence.

Dr. was not only excelled in their technical skills but also had a fantastic bedside manner. Despite the expected discomfort, Dr. Gaurav went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and well-being.

Thanks to his expertise, my wisdom teeth extraction went smoothly, and hoping for recovery to go as smooth . I highly recommend Dr. Gaurav to anyone in need of dental care, particularly those who may feel anxious and are scare like me to visit dentists. He changed my perception for lifetime. His and his team’s skill, compassion, and dedication will undoubtedly make your experience a positive one.

Though I want to mention about their admin team (especially receptionist) in se age halki branch was really not at all helpful and have very bad communication so I would recommend not to Judge the whole clinic with her communication and assistance.

I have decided to proceed with the laser-assisted treatment based on your thorough guidance, and my first appointment reinforced my confidence in this decision. The temporary filling was skillfully done, and I am eagerly looking forward to my next appointment.

I have unbearable wisdom tooth pain from 10 days

A week ago I met Dr. Shwetha

She is very very friendly. She clearly observed the issue and said my wisdom tooth both upper and lower are decayed and it's better to get them extracted ASAP

All these years i was not having enough dare to get it extracted. Instead I have been enduring lot of pain

Finally today i booked appointment with Dr. Gaurav

First thing I should say my fear is more than the discomfort I got while the extraction

I should say 0 pain and little discomfort. I Chose laser procedure

Dr. Gaurav is very down to the earth person and he comfort me alot throughout the surgery. The way he treats and behaves with the patient is very nice and gives lot of strength to the patient

Both my upper and lower tooth are extracted in just 40 minutes along with the waiting time for anesthesia to effect

I am very much Thankful to Gaurav sir and Shwetha madam
