Rochelle Gomes, a Clinical Psychologist and founder of Ria Psychological Centre ,thought about creating a place where people could address their issues freely. It was with that notion that Ria was created. Crafted from the dormant passion that existed within its founder, it was made into a concrete entity finally wherein it came into being in the heart of the suburbs of Mumbai.In a fast paced metro like Mumbai the emergence of several interpersonal frameworks that have some form of either inherent malady or extraneous flaw surface. These issues range from sleep pattern disturbances to relationship complexities in adults as well as children. It was very apparent that a reaching out, helping counselling centre was what was needed. At Ria these unique problems are explored individualistically and working towards individual growth and a remedy is what is aimed at.

When I started therapy with Rochelle, I was going through a lot of anxiety and mood swings. Rochelle from the get-go made me feel extremely comfortable talking about my feelings and acknowledging what I was going through. Through my sessions with her I have seen a drastic shift in my emotional and mental health. I am less anxious, less stressed. She not only listens to you with an open mind, but also provides practical exercises that you can work with to help recenter yourself. I am really thankful to have met her.
