I started my consultation with Hetal for post pregnancy weight gain. After giving birth to my baby, my weight just ballooned up and the lockdown too added to it.
I was 120 kgs and very unfit.
I got in touch with Hetal ma'am because I've known her since 2003 when she helped me as an overweight college kid to lose 25kgs.
There was no one else I could think of than Hetal who could help me. It has been a gradual but steady process .
Hetal has been an excellent mentor in my weight loss journey.
She has guided me and tailored my diet keeping my preferences, lifestyle and routine which is that of a working woman in a nuclear family with a young child to take care.
Hetal is a constant motivator and also a counsellor when I have anxiety which also affects my weight.
She is also strict in a good way as it helps me get back on track.

I'm now 80 kgs and
I look and feel wonderful and fit, more confident day by day.
The diet doesn't feel like a diet at all because she will give a variety of tasty options for breakfast, lunch and dinner based on your food preferences and choices. So you don't get bored and don't feel monotonous at all.
This journey isn't easy but it's achievable with effort and dedication, and Hetal's guidance and strength. There were many challenges but Hetal and I, we both ensured that there was no giving up, only moving forward.
She is super positive and makes you feel the same.
Till date I have achieved around 40 kg of healthy weight loss and still am targeting further weight loss but this is getting possible only because of Hetal's regular consultations with daily diet recalls and her constant motivation. I couldn't have asked for a better person to help me in this journey.

My mom was super concerned about my weight, thus I came to you Hetal Dharod, at Being Healthy. Initially, when I started I felt it pretty tough to put up with the diet since I had to do few changes (I was a big time foodie you know that and used to eat lot of wrong foods).
However, with progressing follow ups and motivation from You, ensuring that I stay positive and determined, I was and I am able to very smoothly follow instructions as guided.
I suppose it was the best decision of my life as I managed to reduce my weight from 98 kg to 78 kg i.e 20 kgs within 10 months.
Happiest feeling is about reducing my clothes size from 5XL to XL to L. I have started fitting into clothes that once felt impossible to fit in.
I remember how you wanted me to shed my laziness, thanks to your scoldings that I now feel healthy and very energised when I wake up and am very active to do lot of my work in a day.

Throughout my teenage, I had tried many different ways to lose weight and have always failed, either because of inconsistencies and insincerity.
But I am glad that I met Hetal last year to guide me for my weight loss and health issues. With her guidance I learnt how to understand my food habits and how my body responds to various factors including the food I was eating and the lifestyle changes that I was taught to make.
Hetal did not put me on a strict diet , but introduced healthier foods into my diet.
She also showed me when and which exercises to include in my routine so that my body would work more efficiently towards my goals.
Through her program I stopped thinking about weight loss and began thinking about my health in totality.
Being a working professional, it was getting hard for me to manage my timings, and food choices. I was not proactive for my health, and laziness was an additional setback.

It's never easy to start a huge journey but it's always the first step. I started at 88 kgs and after A year and 7 months I achieved my goal of happily being 64kgs.
I was a chubby baby since childhood and it never came between me and my confidence or self love. Even when people kept telling me to do certain things to lose weight, I was doing all that, just to prevent my family from any kind of embarrassment. Still I had accepted my body and I was happy with it.
Things took a drastic change when I gained huge weight during and post pregnancy. Clothes didn't fit, I had to buy one size bigger than my actual size to prevent any disappointment, taking only half pics or selfies and so on. But then came major health issues and before I could understand or do anything about it, I was a mom who couldn't walk or stand or play any standing games with her baby. My kid accepted that Mommy can't walk, her leg hurts while she does. And that used to break my heart.
Finally one day I stopped pitying myself and decided to get better for my little boy and hubby, who BTW is very supportive and loved me irrespective of my weight(high or low).
I met dt. Hetal on 15th Aug’22 and that was the start of me being independent of all the things that were dragging me down. She gave me the confidence that I can do it and the right guidance to actually lose weight the correct way.
For a person who plans her day around her meals, this journey wasn't easy for me. But my kid and hubby are always boosting my will and Hetal mam always supported me with the right options and proper guidance. She doesn't know how many times she used exact words that prevented me from giving up and helped me with my stress and anxiety.
After losing my first 7 kgs I was able to walk and play with my kid and that gave me more confidence to go ahead.
I did lose huge weight on and off before this, with crash diet, but my skin and hair paid the price for it and it always bounced back with a bam.
With Hetal mam, it was different, I wasn't starving myself, she gave me better and alternate food options for my craving and based on my body's needs.
The same people who made fun of my weight, now compliment me. It's a bonus, but the real achievement is that along with me, my little kid understands the importance of eating right, knows my diet and even reminds me what to eat as per my diet chart( in case I forget). He also tries to avoid or limit unhealthy along with me and hubby, which encourages me more. He tells me that maida is bad and should be eaten less, fruits should be part of our everyday diet and even reminds me to eat dryfruits daily.
This journey hasn't just changed me but it changed my kid n my husband too. It made me a role model for my kid to understand how disciplined n dedicated one should be towards their health and body, and most importantly "love yourself".
From giving away my favorite clothes because they didn't fit me anymore to "Happily" giving away my favorite clothes now for the same reason everything changed ☺.
Eating healthy is hard when junk food is easily available at every corner and even a reasonable choice on your pocket, but eating healthy is totally worth it. Being on healthy options is better than being on medicines.
Following a healthy life is of course seems costly but the real cost is paid by our body when you keep munching on unhealthy options all around you. And we save money from no/less hospital trips and those meds. That's my take.
To do this in the long term , you need to understand your body's requirements and Hetal mam helped me with this along with teaching me how to manage my stress and anxiety.

Making a healthy choice is a difficult decision however having made that choice only empowers one to be in control of oneself.
This weight loss programme that I did with Dt. Hetal was a conscious decision of getting onto the healthy side not only to look good but also to feel good and of course to wear all great dresses.
My motivation to start this programme was very high. There were apprehensions that accompanies anything new that one is trying hand at but the entire programme was designed in such a way by Dt. Hetal that it became easy and comfortable to embark on this journey.
The progress was gradual and gave good results. Following the diet pattern was not very difficult.It had its own highs and lows but it put me into a pattern and empowered me with the skill of making informed choices with my diet. Initially exercising was a task, it still is but now it is necessary for maintenance and I understand that. This entire programme has taught me that mindful eating and conscious efforts is the key to maintain the weight loss achieved.
This programme has instilled in me a new confidence and I feel much better when I can now choose dresses that I have always longed to wear.

Health is not about the weight you lose, but about the health that you gain.
My weight loss journey had many ups and downs. But Dr. Hetal always motivated me to reach my goal. I always had cravings for snack food which was pretty unhealthy and had hardly any nutrition in it. I never used to like vegetables much. But Dr. Hetal introduced me to variety of healthy food which can made a delightful nourishing snack.
She helped me change my perspective with respect to food which created many optimistic changes in my overall diet.

I’m grateful for your patience, support, and guidance over the past six months—it helped me achieve around 9 kg weight loss, which I’m very thankful for.
My routine was very challenging because of being away from home in other city every week for 5-6 days. The food pattern, choices were haywire. I was not able to focus on my health.

Hi hetal,
First of all thank you very much. Eating full meal was a dream for me till i consulted you. I was always scared of eating assuming that i will gain weight, but now i am enjoying 6 meals.
I mean, I feel like I am eating double than what I used to, and then also I lost weight and am maintaining it.
I never felt that I was on a diet.
From the day I joined you there always to guide me.
I know I was always anxious about my weight , and I remember how you would ask me to relax and be confident about the results.
10 kg weight loss is a good milestone to achieve , which I thought was impossible.
There were regular festival, holidays, marriage functions, get together, but I enjoyed all of them , with only a bit of instructions you asked me to follow. You were always a motivator.
