My father is suffering from epitax (frequent Nose bleeds). He is a sarcoidosis patient since 7 years, it's a chronic disease and also causes breathlessness. On reaching clinic( on prior discussion about my father's health), due to some walking my father's saturation had gone a bit down but later on he recovered. Doctor asked me to make a video of his nose and show it to him(I would like to ask here if this the case why was a need to call us in the clinic, this could have been a online consultation right? ). After few minutes, My father started bleeding, this time doctor had some courtesy to check him out, there was some active bleeding point and could be cauterized but doctor said he doesn't has the equipments in this clinic and treatment could not be done and also he said because of current situation, he cannot do the treatment( I would ask here what was the point in having discussion with you prior to the appointment). At the end he wrote some nasal spray that's it, I had come here with the hope of the treatment and this is what happened.

We did sleep study & drug induced sleep endoscopy

The diagnosis of grossly deviated nasal septum with palate collapse and enlarged tonsils giving an obstructive sleep apnea was established

I underwent surgery on 29th April, 2022

The surgery and recovery has been uneventful

The post surgery checkups showed a clear nasal passage and I couldn't imagine the amount of air I could inhale post the surgery. Dr. Shailesh Pandey & Team has being courteous enough to have helped me recover quickly and have answered to my big or small enquiries and concerns.
