*** ********* ** *** **** ****** *** *** **** *********** ****** ******* I want to share my experience which may be helpful when you try to find correct doctor to consult.

In July’2019, I felt swelling in my left side of stomach, went to a gynecologist, after abdominal scan, they confirmed that Spleen got increased and asked me to have some more tests done.

When I googled about the reasons for Spleen enlargement and ways to rectify the issue, I came to know that treating it is not a direct process but should find out the root cause of the problem.

Then I searched for good doctor and came to know about Dr. S.K.Gupta in AOI (American Oncology Institute). I went to meet him and was waiting. I was totally afraid with that environment and patients and complications there. But when I went to Doctor, his first words were .. “Don’t worry by seeing Oncology department and every problem is curable”, then asked what do you think about your problem, then I said Spleen Enlargement and I believe that it will be rectified with my IRON, Hemoglobin increment. Then doctor suggested to have few tests. But I was afraid and didn’t turn up.

I was taking IRON Tablets, after two months also, there was no increment in Hemoglobin or platelet count or WBC. With my aunt’s suggestion, went to Gastroenterologist (Hepatologist) . Then I had all the tests done to check on liver issues. After confirming that there is no issue with Liver, he suggested to meet Oncologyst or Hematologyst in Yashoda Hospital, Secunderabad. We went there and Doctor asked to have Bone Marrow test to be done to diagnose the issue. As everyone in the department said, it is not so painful and will take only few hours to be back to normal.

I had bitter experience there. After Bone marrow test, I was unable to turn my Right leg or walk. I was hale and healthy and was going to work till that day. But after Bone marrow test was done, my right thigh turned black and took almost three weeks to come back to normal.

After one week, we got reports of Bone marrow, which was not at all clear.

As Yashoda, Secunderabad was too far for us, we went to CARE Hospital, Gachibowli. When we met the doctor there, without even observing my situation, he said .. Bone marrow test reports are not clear to pin point the issue. So, we have to repeat the Bone marrow test and PET Scan to be done. And also said that.. as we see issues in Bone marrow.. Stage 4 Cancer. So, immediately treatment to be started. Myself and my husband were in shock and I was thinking about my children and their future. But, I requested my husband to go out of the hospital and take me to Dr. S.K.Gupta once (In Kukatpally branch of his own).

Then my life turned pleasant. Immediately after meeting the doctor, I got the confidence that we took a right decision. The first gesture of the doctor was .. he asked about my situation, routine and what am I going thru. I explained him everything and he said .. as you are healthy and able to be active, manage your routine, office work, house hold etc .. nothing to worry. As Bone marrow reports are not clear, please bring those samples here and submit to me, so that I can analyze further and can conclude on the issue behind Spleen enlargement.

He suggested for PET Scan too, to find if issue is in any other places too. After analyzing, doctor could find the issue as chronic B-CELL NHL. As it is in Bone marrow, STAGE 4 but by observing me & my husband, doctor gave great moral support to overcome that tension. As it is not Life threatening, let us first try to improve iron levels and HB and gave Iron injections, which improved a lot and could manage my routine as usual. As doctor suggested, with constant Yoga, Meditation good diet and regular checkups, we are very happy now.*** ***** **** *** ********* *** ** *** **** ****** * **** *** *** ******** *********

⦁ Respected Dr.Sk.Gupta,To say about this doctor there are no more words.With which god we must compare and with which flower we must pray to him. We will never forgive him all over the life. These I am not saying just because he saved my child life but I have seen many doctors in last 6-7yrs and also visited many hospitals as well. His passion towards patient and family care is just speechless.

⦁ My name is M.Padma and son name M.Durga Prasad (age 13 years).He is suffering from sickle cell thalesemia disease. We diagnosed at 6 years age,We approached to couple of doctors at different hospitals,but they had not given the permanent solution, From last 6 months back he is suffering from sevior problems and we admitted in one of big corporate( almost three times in this 4month time period) hospital at Somajiguda when my son was very serious, doctors had neglected and said to discharge at that time.

By god grace luckly we approached Dr.Sk.Gupta sir about whome we already heard a lot but couldn't approach him.

⦁ We approached Dr.Sk.Gupta with the family members at kukatpally. Sir explained about sickle cell disease, He made us to understand the problem and then gave the final solution is BMT (Bone Marrow Transplant).

⦁ As followed the treatment first is to find donars for stem cells and for the stem cells my both daughter gave the HLA matching test ,for one sister 5/10 has got matched for second sister 10/10 has got matched. He collected stem cells from second daughter without much trouble ( but we were very scared before and during this stem cell collection Procedure). The second step is to find trouble .B- blood group (WBC,RBC,PLATELETS).Third step is to arrange money. Sir said that estimatly 13 lakhs and in that 7 lakhs for medicines can be happen.We said sir that we don't have that much money and sir gave gave 30% discount for medicines and other tests. We went to other corporate hospital also for Bone marrow transplant estimates but sir estimate was very much affordable.

⦁ As treatment is started sir used to be monotorize regularly according to patient conditions and communicate to the staff members.Nearly one month we are in hospital,Sir took very good care about my son and at last we succesfully completed 'BMT' procedure and discharged at september-30-2020. It's almost 100days over post stem cell transplant and my son as of now is doing well. Sir have explained that upto 1yr is very very important to out from danger.

My Father is suffering from high platelets problem. We got to know this accidently in July 2020 after a precautionary health check post covid. We thought it is a side effect of Covid. But it persisted, so we checked past report as well. The platelet count was around 16 lakh in March 2020 report as well. So we initially consulted an hematologist at Apollo Delhi. He prescribed various blood test, but all were negative. We then consulted an Oncologist at TMH Jamshedpur. The bone marrow aspiration was done in September 2020. But the reports were not conclusive and the doctor prescribed hydroxy Urea 500 mg twice. Initially the blood platelet count decreased and it was recovering around 4 lakhs. But within 6 months, my father was experiencing many side effects of the medicine. The hand and leg skin have become dark, there was pain in the heels and he was not able to walk. The skin issue was so much that the doctors at TMH reduced the medicine dosage to just one tablet. My father requested him to change the medicine but he was reluctant to change it and told my father that it is the only medicine for this disease. When the side effects became so prominent, he referred to a hematologist at Kolkata. I was living at Hyderabad and it was difficult for us to go to Kolkata and consult the doctor. So, I finally decided to search a good hematologist in Hyderabad. I googled and read reviews of many doctor and then finally decided to consult Dr S K Gupta. The reason for that was the doctor has studied from topmedical college and his reviews are really good. I visited him alone as my father was at Jamshedpur. The doctor spent around an hour to understand the case and finally asked to have vitamin B injection and in person visit within 15 days. After taking vitamin B12 injection, there was some relief. My father finally met the doctor in September 2021. The doctor relooked at the bone marrow slides and finally concluded it could be MPN (Myeloproliferative neoplasms). He also took a decision to change the medicine-hydroxyurea to Anagrelide. Anagrelide is not having serious side effects as compared to Hydroxyurea. This was a game changer for my father. My father started taking this medicine from mid-October 2021 and within 4 months the platelet count was reduced to 2.8 lakhs and all the skin issues subsided. He is not having any pain in the heels and is being able to lead a normal life. Many thanks to Dr S K Gupta for this turnaround. We have observed few blue colour bruises on my five year old daughter's legs. When consulted our peadeatrician, doctor recommended for a heamogram test. I was absolutely shattered and panicked when the heamogram report revealed the WBC count is above 2 Lakhs. I was very worried and all of a sudden, life became upside down.I was in complete dark. Then comes a ray of hope in the form of Doctor SK Gupta when my friend adviced us to consult Doctor SK Gupta. We are very fortunate that my daughter is being treated by Dr SK Gupta. Doctor is down to earth, has good patience, explains in detail about the core health problem, treatment road map, empathy towards patients.

Dr SK Gupta. Doctor Gupta will only give the treatment and recommends diagnostic tests which are required in treating the health ailment. In my daughter's case, doctor recommended only PB and karyotyping test to diagnose CML. We were in constant touch with few of our family friends and relatives who panicked us saying why bone marrow test is not done yet in diagnosing the problem which is a basic mandatory test. When consulted doctor on same, he politely explained us saying why small baby should unnecessarily suffered with bone marrow test which is a very painful procedure when we can diagnose the cause through other tests which are not a very painful procedures. Doctor clearly told us that he will go for bone marrow test only if it is required and only incase the cause of ailment is not able to diagnose through PB and Karyotyping tests

Doctor is an expert in diagnosing the problem with step by step approach and giving the proper required treatment once the problem is diagnosed. After my baby is diagnosed with CML, doctor immediately started treatment and within a month my baby's WBC count is back to normal. WBC count is down to 6.5K all the way from frightening 2 Lakhs count. I would really like to thank Doctor SK Gupta and we are so blessed to have you as our Doctor. I would also like to thank Doctor's PA who is available round the clock in providing the required support and she actively follow up on my baby's health. Based on our personal experience and after knowing about to the point quality treatment offered by doctor, I strongly recommend doctor SK Gupta as your Doctor for any heamotology and heamotology-Oncology related ailments.

I am sharing this note exactly after a month of dreaded incidents that we all went through.The previous month 6th June I admitted my mom for her regular chemotherapy at Omega Hospitals. As per the blood report, her reports were relatively poor. She had taken 13 radiations before that. I was aware of the side effects and was fairly okay with this until the medical department suggested infusing blood and platelets for 3 continuous days and there were no signs of improvement neither on the blood work nor on her health. We had already spent a huge amount of money by this time being in and out of hospital every now and then. A ray of hope he was 🙏.I had to discharge my mom after a lot of drama and "against their medical advice".And finally admitted her for counselling at Continental haematology section on 13th June exactly after a weekWe are almost nearing a month of treatment now. he actually listens to the patients and doesn't give you generic answers.The doctor is Excellent and gives you good vibes. We all know how traumatising it is to know when your loved one is suffering through something like this.The treatments are not overdosed and the staffs under his supervision make sure that none of your other organs gets damaged during the process.A heartfelt thanks to Gupta Sir, Ambily Mam, dearest Sudha and Alvi for hauling up every night and day and every warrior in this team. I am deeply sorry for missing the names out if any but my entire family is deeply thankful to you.

I want to share my experience after consulting Dr Gupta

My mother was diagnosed with cancer (DLBCL) at the age of 62 in the year 2013. She treated with R-CHOP and was free from cancer for 2 years. Later 2018 she got relapsed, went for chemo, she has taken E-SHAP, which was having high dose and was not able to tolerate and suffered with lot of side effects which made her discontinued for further chemo’s.

Last year, in the month of Sep2021 she had severe lower limb swelling and pain. She started taking immuo oral medicines and after 3 months the size of lymph nodes was worsened and she was not ready to take Chemo’s because of her past treatment. I have started searching for good hematological doctor and came to know Dr. Gupta through online source and also through my brother’s friend suggestion. I was confident enough to approach the doctor of looking his reviews and also with his expertise. After approaching the Doctor, he listened good-naturedly the patient past history and discussed the patient pros and cons for going to further treatment. And concluded with simple procedure and made the patient mentally strong with his words and nice smile.

After talking to the doctor, we got the confidence, my mother also convinced and planned for chemo. Doctor suggested us, based on the tolerability of the patient proceed the chemo's. 14-Feb joined the hospital and 16-Feb-2021 her first chemo was given. Now, she successfully completed 3 chemo’s with very minimal complications. Based on her age and past history 1 cycle split to 2 times (day1 and 8) and medicines /tests also taken based on the need. Successfully the chemotherapy was given to the patient and the treatment was well done.

The sign of this good Doctor is relentless commitment to the patient’s cause and the ability to keep trying until you are able to go back to the patient with clear and accurate diagnosis and treatment plan.

Want to say big thank you to Dr. GUPTA from my bottom of the heart. Based on my personal experience would like to advice to meet Dr SK Gupta for any bone marrow or blood related cancerous and non-cancerous to get benefit of early diagnosis and proper guidance which are most of time are lacking in these days. I visited Dr.SK Gupta to confirm that my symptoms were cancer or not. I was worried about what the weird sensation in abdomen might actually be . Though gastroenterologist said it might be serotonin imbalance, I wanted to get opinion from oncologist as well. During my initial visit with Dr.Sk.Gupta he clarified that based on my symptoms it is not cancer. He said if I really want to be sure, I can get a CT scan done and that can rule out 100%.. but he said he does not think it is needed. As another gasteroenterologist said that if he has to find out for sure, he would also recommend CT scan ,so I got that done at Continental hospital..and from that Gasteroenterologist concluded it is serotonin imbalance. I then came back to Dr. SK Gupta and asked his opinion. He then explained what some of the lines in report meant .He explained why lymph nodes expand a bit when there is infection and why that is normal.. he clarified my doubts about that..and said i dont need any other tests even though I was insisting on doing anything else.. When I asked him if I should get checkups done every 3 months, he said that is not needed and every 6 months should be sufficient. I also asked him to tell me if what he saying is 100% sure.. and he said yes.. OVERALL.. the interaction with doctor was frank , open.. Doctor was 100% patient with me, explained in a language that I understand, clarified all my questions in detail, and that is why I want to visit him if I get any other doubt.. I recently visited this doctor at Continental hospital but unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. I'd choosen this Doctor based on reviews but the consultation did not feel professional. The doctor did not provide a written prescription or clearly mention any blood tests that needed to be done, which left us confused about the next steps for treatment. ************* *** ****** ****** ** **** ****** ** ***** ******* ** *** ******** ****** ****** **** ********** * ******** *********** *********** ** **** ** ****** *********** **** ***** **** ******* ** ********* ********* *** ********* ******* *********. As a patient, I expected clearer guidance, proper documentation, and a more attentive consultation. Overall, the visit did not meet the level of professionalism and care that one would hope for in a medical consultation.

Dr. S.K. Gupta is one of the finest doctors I've encountered. He has significantly contributed to my father's well-being. While many doctors understand disease, Dr. Gupta truly comprehends what patients experience. Dr. Gupta sir takes the time to gather as much information as possible and patiently answers all our questions, making a remarkable difference in our experience.

Symptoms :

Loss of weight , showing weakness feeling like tiredness. Main symptoms is leg, fingers, hand fingers and ears used to become dark, and I feel like frozen, not able to move them when he stays in AC or at cold temperature for more than half an hour for more than an year. We try different approach of treatment that didn’t work.

The haemoglobin reduces to 6% Even though we tried different blood related treatment it didn’t work.

Temporary solution :

When he feels hardness in the fingers used to give hot water therapy and used to feel relax.

Solution:

After researching online, we got Dr Gupta , after a couple of visits, we were able to find a root cause of the issue. It was symptoms of lymphoma. Now we are undergone fourth row of the treatment. Even after first dose itself, we are able to find the treatment is working, and we can see some relief for my father
