Pause for Perspective is a mental health and wellness organization. We are a group of passionate, committed and specialized Clinical Psychologists and Psychological Counselors with over thirty decades of work experience in the field of psychology, education and mental health. Our therapists are trained both international and in India in a variety of approaches that include current evidence based practices such as the third wave cognitive behavioral therapies including Mindfulness Based Symptom Management, ACT, and DBT. We also practice CBT, EMDR, Psychodynamic approaches. We are also trained in Couples Therapy. We see a variety of clients including: Couples experiencing marital discord, infertility issues, grief and loss, personal histories of abuse or trauma, and infidelity. Individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, difficult breakups or divorce, history of abuse or trauma, and unresolved grief. We also see LGBT clients. Families in transition, struggling with divorce and/or new stepfamilies, a death of a family member, or traumatic family event. Parents of children with sensory processing issues as well as mental retardation. Parents of children who have difficulty at school such as ADHD, defiance, aggression, violent or hurtful behavior etc. New mothers who seek help with adjusting to the new roles in their lives. Mothers with postpartum depression. Individuals experience suicidal thoughts or have attempted suicide. Individuals who would like to focus on aligning their lives to living mindfully.
