Anand Eye Institute is a comprehensive eye care facility which provides medical and surgical care for all age groups in all disciplines of Ophthalmology. Anand Eye Institute started as a 50 bedded super specialty comprehensive eye center and currently has over 12 years of standing having treated a variety of cases coming in from different parts of the state and country.The Journey for excellence began in - 2001 - It started off as Vitreo Retinal Institute, Specialized to treat every kind of Retinal Conditions, the first of its kind in Andhra Pradesh. 2007 - It was christened as Anand Vitreo Retinal Institute Private Limited with Drs. G.A. Ananda Rao and Satish G. Agraharam being the directors. 2010 – It developed into a comprehensive eye care and training facility and was renamed as Anand Eye Institute. 2015 - Successful on the endeavor of expansion with a pilot branch opened in KondapurHabsiguda: A five storied building with an area of 16000 sft. located at Habsiguda, fully equipped with 9 outpatient consultation rooms, 4 optometry and workup rooms, an outpatient procedure room, in-patient facility to accommodate about 50 patients in various classes of accommodation, a floor dedicated for diagnostics, provision for an eye bank, another floor dedicated to 4 operation theatres fully air conditioned and having the latest in air decontamination and filtration to provide the optimal sterile environment for surgical procedures , an administration office complex, provision for audio-visual room, canteen for staff n patients, medical and optical shop etc.
