Visited Dr. Ganesh Veerabhadraiah (Neurosurgeon)
I was suffering from spine and knee pain from last 5 years . I visited Apollo Hospital and Manipal hospital and consulted number do Doctor's for my pain. Apollo hospital suggested MRI and I took MRI frames and report to them but they suggested that I had an extra spine and gave some medicine. Infact I lost my eye sight for because of the medicine. The doctor at Apollo or Manipal were unable to identify the root cause of my spine and knee pain. They gave only pain killers which were ineffective in getting rid of the pain. Then I visited Allivate hospital and doctor there suggested costly injections. Which I took over a period of 6 months. Pain stopped for 3 months and then the same pain returned. Upon further consultation with the doctor their they suggested that they cannot guarantee the pain will not return and I need to continuously keep taking the injections every few months.
I was very depressed , when last option i went to cunnigham hospital and met with Dr.Ganesh Veerabhadriah. He saw my old MRI report and immediately identified the there was problem in L4 and L5 and directed me to get a MRI redone so as to ascertain the extent of damage in the spine .
After I brought the latest MRI report the confirmed slip disk and Lumber Spine issue. He suggested I'd the pain is intolerable then go for surgery or else it can be cured through medication .
Since the pain was intolerable and over a long period of time I requested for surgery. Doctor obliged and I underwent a L4 L5 micro .discectomy
After the surgery the pain was completely gone , I did have surgery pain for 3 days but constant pain in spine and knee was completely gone
I am forever grateful to the god first and dr.Ganesh next for diagnosing the injury and then curing it. For 5 years i suffered and only Dr. Ganesh was able to cure my disease and give me relief from the spine pain.
I highly recommend Dr.Ganesh name for any patient suffering from constant spine and knee disorders.
Visited Dr. Shakir Tabrez (General Surgeon) For Urinary Tract / Bladder Stones Treatment
Happy with: Doctor friendlinessExplanation of the health issue
I suffered from severe pain in the left lower abdomen with intense pain radiating to the back. I consulted Dr. Shakir who after a preliminary examination diagnosed it as a stone either in the kidney or ureter. I was advised to undergo a CT scan which confirmed his diagnosis. Dr.Shakir is very articulate , patient, and a wonderful Doctor to interact with.
The tragedy is that the Radiologist at Fortis made a blunder, an unpardonable error in not indicating the size of the stone in the left kidney and ureter. Dr.Shakir on a review of the CT scan film arrived at the size of the stone. Speaks very poorly on the competence of the reporting radiologist.
Visited Dr. Vivek Jawali (Cardiothoracic Surgeon) For Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery
Hoped for better: Doctor friendlinessExplanation of the health issueTreatment satisfactionValue for moneyWait time
I took an appointment to visit MR. Jawli regarding DVR surgery planned in next week for my mother.he was very impatient, and never answered a single question. for surgery he asked me to stop acitrom. then I tried to explain him that she had stroke 8 months back, when acitrom was stopped based on suggestion by other doctor. he said "follow what I say", "don't ask me all these non sense". he asked to me standup and the moment I stood, he shouted at me to leave his room .it all took less than 3 minutes after my 2 hours long waiting. as a patient, ones would require enough information before going through a surgery. especially when it is complicated surgery such as open Heart, valve replacement etc. ** *** **** ** **** **** ******* *** ***** **** ******* **** * ****** ***** ** ****** ******* * **** ******* ******* ***** ******* ****** ********* *** ******* ******* *** ** **** *** **** ** *** ******** I will be moving to different doctor/hospital.
