Dr. Ramesh Punjani

Dr. Ramesh Punjani is a practicing surgeon at Fortis Hospital for past 10 years.He did MBBS from Grant medical College, Mumbai in 1982 & MS in general surgery from Grant Medical College in 1986.He has been doing laparoscopic surgery (both basic & advance) for last 20 years.He has passion for repair of “ Hernia” . He has done thousands of hernia by varying technique.He is also a well known teacher .He was assistant professor in surgery at K. J. Somaiya Medical College for 8 years.He is a faculty at Ethicon Institute of Surgical Education(EISE) & at Center of Excellence Minimal Access Surgery Training (CEMAST), where he teaches practicing surgeons laparoscopic surgery.He is also a trained “Console” surgeon in Robotic Surgery.
