Dr. Prashant Bachina is a Paediatric Gastroenterologist, Hepatologist & Liver transplant physician at Rainbow Children’s Hospital. He was a university topper with gold medals at undergraduate & post graduate education (MBBS & M.D.). After completing his M.D., he left for U.K. & worked in the most prestigious teaching hospitals of U.K. for eight years. During this period, he worked with patients having complex liver & gastro-intestinal problems. He has extensive experience in managing children with food allergies, reflux problems, constipation and IBD. Dr. Prashant specialises in managing patients with Biliary Atresia & complex liver conditions. He worked for four years in liver transplant units and managed over 300 patients with liver transplant. In 2010, he was awarded with the "Rising Star Award" in "Pediatric Hepatlogy" for his research work. Patients find him very approachable, pleasant and very friendly to children.
