We would like to share our pregnancy journey under the treatment of Dr Madhuri Laha. Before starting the journey we would like to thank her for all her guidances and supports during the journey. My wife is a Chronic Pancreatitis patient from childhood with fatty Liver issue, hyperthyroidism, PCODs and high diabetes. With these many health complications , still we had a hope to become parents. But unfortunately not a single gastroenterologists and gynaecologist approved her to fulfil our dream because of her medical condition at that time. After consulting with so many doctors in Hyderabad, Kolkata and Pune, we started our treatment under Dr. Madhuri Laha from September, 2021 for gynaec consultation and for gastroenterologist we keep going to Hyderabad when required (for emergencies we had a doctor from Pune as well). The first task was to reduce her medicines so that she does not have to intake a lot of medicine during pregnancy. To achieve that Madhuri mam had suggested a restrictive diet and exercises. It took 11 months for us to achieve that target by following all instructions given by Madhuri mam and throughout this period we got only the positive vibes from her and able to follow them strictly. Once Madhuri mam allowed to try for pregnancy along with the gastroenterologist from both Hyderabad and Pune, my wife concieved in August, 2022 naturally. Now the second challenge was to go through the phases of the pregnancy. We are not in Pune for long and does not have much idea about doctors here, she helped us a lot by suggesting good doctors for both diabetes and gastroenterologists in Pune. She made our whole pregnancy journey memorable, comfortable and easy with her excellent suggestions, supports and guidances whenever required. Although my wife’s diabetes level became very high throughout her pregnancy time but trust me we never got worried for a single day as she was there with us. We just followed her guidances (tests, medications) and kept our faith on her. At the end of all these our dream came true and we are finally blessed with our baby boy on 1st May, 2023. Because of the health condition and a lot of other complications we had a planned C- section and post-delivery my wife is absolutely fit and fine and her diabetes level is also normal now. Dr Madhuri Mam is just like god for us. We are so much satisfied with her positivity, treatment, supports, proper guidance, skills, caring attitude and thats why we never thought for any 2nd Gynaecologist opinion to take for my wife’s high- risk pregnancy though we used to travel from Hinjewadi to Kharadi for her check up(35 km one side from home to hospital). Infact we brought my mom to her for ovarian cyst operation from Kolkata to Pune in Motherhood hospital also. We are really grateful for our experience with her. ”Thank You“ is also very small word to express our feelings for everything she did for us.

This is my heartfelt appreciation for Dr. Madhuri Laha Mam. My family got completed because of her. First my son in September 2017 and now the daughter in June 2023. Both the kids are delivered under her observation, via normal delivery. Both the kids are healthy, happy and strong. My journey with her started from 2017 till 2023. I am writing this review after 4 monts of delivery of my second baby(sorry for being too lazy).
Review-
Most of my consultations were of 5 - 7 minutes only, but she diligently tracks all the important parameters within this duration. And if she found any anomaly in the reports, she ensured to understand the reason for that without caring about time and give treatment accordingly. People might feel that she is less interactive and not paying attention if everything is going smoothly, but I didn't find anything wrong in it. I find that behaviour to be extremely professional, since there is no need to talk much if there are no problems.
This was my second delivery under her observation, and I wanted this one to be normal too like previous one. So without any doubts, I went directly to Madhuri mam, even though the hospital where she is practicing currently is far away from my home. Mam always encourages for normal delivery and secondly I feel friendly and caring warmth in her. She gives an objective analysis with pros and cons of both normal and c-section, and motivates to try for normal only. She is very confident herself that the delivery goes normal, and it gives a lot of confidence to the patient also.
Issues-
In the 28th week sonography, baby's AC was very low (8 percentile), which means baby's growth was slow. Many people told me that if AC is low, then normal delivery is not possible in most cases. The deliver has to be done pre-maturely in that case. But Madhuri mam immediately started treatment with protein and multi-vitamin tablets. She also suggested me to have high protein diet with Paneer, Soyabean as I am pure vegetarian. Due to this, by the 34th week sonography, AC came to normal range.
In the 34th week, my BP touched 130/85, which is considered normal by most doctors. But in my case, my usual BP was 100/70. She caught this very promptly by comparing the current BP with previous reports. Due to her early detection and treatment, my BP came back to normal due to which there were no complications during the delivery.
In the 37th week, I got admitted to the hospital as I had started feeling some pain. But those were fake labour pains. Madhuri mam waited for one day to see if natural pain starts, but gave me discharge after that. Mostly other doctors don't wait and perform c-section delivery in such cases. But she was so confident that my delivery will be normal only, and gave me confidence that I will get natural labour pain within a week since I had already got fake labour pain. Just after 3 days of that, my little angel was delivered normally on 24th June 2023. My family got completed with this baby girl.
In closing, I would just like to say that I cannot thank Madhuri mam enough for giving me the two most important parts of my life. I give a lots of blessings and love to mam, and will always remember her throughout my life. I can meet mam anytime as my baby's paediatrician is in the same hospital (only if mam has time😊). I will definitely refer any of my relatives or friends to her if they are seeking guidance.

We would like to share our story of ectopic pregnancy, which is completely natural and should be acceptable by the society and couples should be aware of.
We had started the planning for baby and I was expecting my periods on 30th Nov, as my period cycle is regular, but the cycle didn't happen so with excitement on 8th Dec, 2021, we did a pregnancy test at home with kit, which showed up not very faint not very prominent lines, immediately we decided to visit doctor as we couldn't understand. So on 9th dec we visited Dr.Madhuri Laha, Motherhood, we showed her our pregnancy kit test basis on which she suggest for sonography to detect the position incase of pregnancy and along with beta HCG blood test in gap duration of 48 hours.
We sincerely followed her, immediately sonography didn't showed up anything nor the position nor the confirmation of pregnancy so we waited for the beta HCG report test result which was done on 10th dec, the value was 2036 on the first report and the very next day I spotted some blood drops.
Since it was few blood drops we didn't acted immediately (in such case we needed to go and visit doctor immediately but we did not and waited for another beta HCG report which was scheduled next day)
The next beta HCG report post a gap of 48 hours was 3072 dated 12th dec.
On 13th dec we visited doctor along with our beta HCG report, at first doctor was very angry why did not we acted when we spotted the blood drops which is unusual thing, later she explained that this ignorance could be life threating to you, this could be ectopic pregnancy (Tubal Pregnancy) or if it is normal pregnancy its well and good. So she immediately asked to go for sonography as in the first sonography the position was not detected.
We immediately went for sonography where the doc confirmed it was Tubal Pregnancy of 5 weeks and 2 days on the left tube. She immediately called up Dr. Madhuri Laha informed her and she asked for immediate hospitalization as this is considered as medical emergency. We got hospitalized on 13th dec night.
It is considered as medical emergency because the baby cannot grow in the tube and if it does not grow there are chances of it getting ruptured inside which can cause life threating to mother.
The next day post our hospitalization as I was very stable without any pain, doctor suggested for one more beta HCG report post which she would take decision.
The result was 4500 and looking my condition which was without any pain doc suggested for to go through medical treatment and staying in hospital for next 6 days so that under any emergency I could be attended immediately.
So for next 6 days we waited patiently and underwent the medical treatment (included of injections and tablets).
Post 6 days which was 20th dec, I had to undergo the beta HCG report and sonography to know the exact condition.
Result of beta HCG was 8400 which was too high. Later the sonography report showed that the baby had grown up to one more week and had developed heart beat as well, still in the tube. Now the only option was to perform the surgery and remove the tube and the baby.
So on 20th dec itself post the reports I was kept under emergency watch and on 21st dec Dr.Madhuri Laha and her team performed the surgery and removed the tube.
The surgery was successful and I was out of danger.
She is a great doctor and Motherhood hospital is the best hospital. We had very good experience with the staff and the nurses and the doctors.
Early diagnosis and Early act could have saved all these. Be careful do not let go off a single day incase of your delayed periods or any unusual thing happening in your body.

We would like to share our experience with Dr Madhuri.
The review is written in 3 parts :- First one, when we started our treatment with Dr. Madhuri. Second, actual pregnancy, and third one is about post pregnancy.
We came to know about pregnancy in the month of February 2022. We were at our home town - Nashik at that time.
We consulted our family gynecologist and treated till the end of 3rd month.
Post that shifted to Pune and started with one of the gynecologist till the end of 7th month.
At this point we came to know that we are having IUGR baby.
A baby who is unable to receive enough amount of supplies from it's mother.
The doctor did not seems enough pro-active to us in order to react to the situation. And we made the best decision, I would say to shift the treatment under Dr. Madhuri.
She immediately made us understand what is the situation and how this can be handled. She took very much needed timely actions.
Also she is very good when it comes to making the things clear yet providing confidence to the patient. Which is very important during the pregnancy.
No doubt we were tensed but Dr. Madhuri helped us to overcome the situation at the same time, be alert about what's happening and what to expect next.
We successfully made it to 37th week of pregnancy. Meanwhile we were asked to undergo USG (Sonography) timely, compared to normal cases.
Even at those times, Dr. Madhuri used to talk to radiologist in order to get into exact situation, rather that relying on reports only.
She even asked us to consult to different radiologist when it was nearing to 37 week, just to make sure that there is no human error involved and everything is understood well in timely manner.
Since IUGR babies need much care than those of others.
At 37th week, Dr. Madhuri conveyed us that baby is grown up enough and it's safe to take baby out now, based on reports. Else there can be difficulties later on.
We trusted and relies on Dr. Madhuri and got admitted into hospital and our baby was out within some hours.
With the blessings of our well wishers and Dr. Madhuri's expertise, our baby is healthy and doing well.
We even got a call from Dr. Madhuri, who provided us some important instructions, post discharge from hospital.
Even after the delivery Dr. Madhuri took active follow-up in order to have a look at mothers health and she did noticed slight raise in Blood Pressure and suggested the further treatment.
So in all I would say, Dr. Madhuri was there for us from the point we started our treatment under her. And I would say everything happened till the point is as good as "Picture Perfect"
Huge thanks to Dr. Madhuri and Motherhood Team.

Review for Dr. Madhuri Laha
Hospital: Motherhood (Pune, Kharadi).
My Story:
My wife and I both are not from Pune (or even Maharashtra). During the early pregnancy we were consulting on of the big Dr. in Deccan for our second child. However as the nationwide lock down started, we were looking for any good Dr. nearby (Kharadi or Magarpatta City). One of our neighbor gave her reference that, they were consulting to Dr. Madhuri Laha, and came to know that she was waiting almost for 12 hrs. in April month lockdown and successfully deliver baby. It was amaze to hear that any dr. who is waiting for 12 hrs. for a normal delivery.
We went to Motherhood hospital with appointment first time in May month. The junior Dr. took all past histories and reports. First meeting with Dr is for maximum 8-10 mins. There was hardly much discussion, she talked on normal diet mostly and gave only two medicine and asked to have daily walks. We felt like, is it really good as there was not much interaction with her. But after consulting for 6-7 months and finally we understand she was just perfect. If there is no such complication, there is nothing to discuss much, it absolutely fine.
During 34th week:
My wife felt the baby movement was less in the morning. As Dr. Madhuri suggested if we felt anything unusual that time (on just previous consulting day) come and get admitted directly. As suggested we don’t call Motherhood, just reached in the hospital. Dr. arrived and the sonography found that, the baby movement is really less. She suggested that there are two option, if it’s really require we may have to go for pre mature delivery, the other is to give saline and medicine which will be beneficial for baby’s movement increment. She clearly mentioned that we have to take call for less risk procedure (giving saline), and it actually work. After 5 hrs. we were back at home with all good. The baby movement was back as normal.
On 37Week + :
On early morning my daughter mentioned that, her water broke, and we rushed to Hospital. Wife get admitted immediately. Dr. Madhuri came and checked her and found she was having labor pain(less though). Note that, our Kid has “Double loop” on neck (which was found on earlier sonography). Despite water broke and double loop she was confident to go with normal delivery. Around 2:30 pm she take another look to my wife and said labor pain is still less and it will take few more hrs. to get the actual delivery. She also mentioned that she feel that the delivery may took around 6-7 pm.
Around 5:30 pm wife started having the intense pain. Junior dr. gave call to Madhuri maa’m and explained the same and she rushed to hospital in 10-15 mins. My wife delivered our second kid around 6:40 pm successfully. Her junior Dr. and rest of the team were too supportive as well
I was amazed to see her medical experience with the assumptions (timing), and her capability with the complexity (double loop and water broken) but still went for normal delivery. Even our Covid test result was awaiting (as we came as emergency and sample taken at hospital in the morning), but she never questioned about it. However next day we found all our Covid test came (-) ve.
Review for Dr. Madhuri Laha:
As a normal people we always want to consult “Pehchan ki” (Known) Gynecologist for delivery. I am not sure if “pehchan ki dr.” term can be applicable to Dr. Madhuri Laha or not but her diagnosis, treatment and medical choices according to situation is just like your own “pehchan ki dr.” . She always believed her own capabilities and prefer for natural delivery which is amazing. In my personal case with water broken and double loop complexity, I believe she may the rarest dr. who still chose to go for successful normal delivery.
As said, being not local to Pune or Maharashtra, we have anxiety that how we can find a dr who can go for normal delivery. And Dr. Madhuri was exactly the same kind of Dr who is well capable and still believe in normal delivery can be possible even with complex situation and actually perform it with highest proficiency.
I definitely recommend other fellow patient who believe normal delivery can still possible in current timing.

We visited Dr Laha last year Nov-21 from the time we confirmed our pregnancy as we were new to the city and her reviews online were ‘Great’ and her clinic was close to where we live as well. She was very thorough and absolutely impeccable about the approach what we had to take in the coming months, during the visits.Initially, although we felt a bit scared as ma’am wouldn’t talk that much and would be very straightforward about the risks involved but eventually that is what helped us the most.We were very cautious the whole time since I was diagnosed with cholestasis from the very beginning and I even had covid in Feb 22 but ma’am was solid in her her approach as I had no additional complications except cholestasis, high d-dimer value post covid. Finally had my baby delivered last week this month which was the best experience now looking back.Ma’am suggested me to go for Induce Labor as she was looking at a Normal procedure for delivery, also suggested me and my husband to be calm during the “labor induction to delivery” phase which was about 18hrs.I got admitted at around 6pm and had my delivery at 1pm the next day.Had induced labor which was handled by ma’am’s team of doctors and the nurses in the hospital so efficiently that we have no words. My suggestion to ‘mom to be’s’ would be to have faith on doctors,if they have planned a procedure,we should cooperate and stick to the plan with them as they are way more equipped than our “google knowledge”.Induce labor was definitely straining for us but the phases of pain are bearable in the beginning and would slowly increase near the end of the delivery which we as ‘Mothers’, we would definitely have the ability to bear.I was administered epidural as well, so that might be used as an option if your doctor suggests to reduce the pain to a lot extent. Finally, I delivered a healthy baby daughter at 37weeks 5 days in “Normal procedure” with induced labor under Madhuri Ma’am’s and her team of well trained doctor’s supervision. My family and me will be forever indebted to ma’am for such a great experience, when ‘surgery’ is generally adopted as a process for all delivery,Ma’am stuck to Normal procedure(obviously I was responding likewise to the process). The best part is,retrospectively my experience of these last 10 months that seems absolutely perfect.A big thumbs up to ma’am and Motherhood Kharadi’s team of doctors. Thanks a lot!!

Note: My story is going to be long as I had long journey with her with high risk pregnancy, so I am writing summary of my story first for those who just want feedback of Dr madhuri and not interested in my story.
Summary: Dr madhuri laha is best to help you prepare for conceiving by recommending right diagnosis test and medicine.
2) Recommend **** medicine based on current and future risks.
3) Takes extra care and quick to respond on wattsapp/ call for emergency (especially during lockdown )
4) Recommend and help in urgent appointment with other specialists if required.
5) Discuss the case personally with other specialists available outside hospital if required.
6) personally check/ call you( in case of high risks) to ensure everything is going well as per plan.
7) Help you to understand financial involved and with discount on medicine if possible.
My Story: I was working with IT COMPANY for around good 11 years and was unconceiously leaving highly stressed life. I was in mid 30s when I left my job started planning family. After planning for ,3-4 months I visited her told my story.
Because of my age she advised us how and when we can
proceed and alternatives in case first step didn't work.
As first step she advised us to try based on follicular study .
We were able to conceive but aborted naturally.
She motivated us that natural abortion is not bad but good for us. It helps us to avoid late pregnancy problem or any other defect in fetus and asked to wait for 3-4 months (because of age factor) and try again.
We waited for 3 months , she recommended some medicine to avoid early abortion.
We conceived again after 2-3 months with twins. It was a mono do twin pregnancy which is highly risky.
She recommended all possible medicine and diagnosis to avoid/ handle risks at later stage.
During second trimester ultrasound showed some complications to second baby which as per our sonographer was normal in such pregnancies. I got gestational diabetes as well. She recommended me **** medicine to her knowledge to overcome the risk and stretch
My delivery as long as possible.
During 31st week I got some Gastroenterology troubles as well. All of these made my pregnancy a high risk pregnancy.
Instead of handling my gestro issues herself she asked me to concult a Gastroenterologist. But due to lockdown no doctor was available.she requested dr Nisha to assist me on wattsapp. On her request dr Nisha assisted me on wattsapp , recommended me relevant tests and medicine. She was also quick in replying. Dr Laha personally discussed my case with her on daily basis ( based on daily tests). Prepared me for early delivery and tried her best to stretch my delivery as much as possible based on my daily sonography and gastro tests reports and also consulting with sonographer and Gastroenterologist.
In between I was required to go for one abdomen ultrasound which was not available in motherhood hospital and outside sonographer were not doing any tests without prescription. Due to lockdown I didn't had written prescription, she helped me in this situation as well by requesting outside sonographer.
When required she used to call me personally to explain what is the current status and how far we can stretch to limit NICU stay.
She tried her best to stretch my pregnancy till 34th week . But I was too scared to take further risk. Finally on 33rd wee she delivered my twins. Now my babies are 3 months old and in good health.
In my opinion she is best. She gave me her best both professionally (with her speciality) and personally (by consulting other specialists whenever required).
P.S: many people says she is not friendly but I will say she is too busy to gossip. She is out spoken which she should be. After all it's doctor's responsibility to tell you all the risks and risks can't be sweet and sugar coated.

I am really Happy to write this review for Madhuri mam ******* ********* *** ** *** ** *** *** ************ ** *** **** * ********* this was our first Pregnancy, We started consulting Dr. Madhuri from fifth month of pregnancy for my wife Initially when we started visiting her for regular Checkups for my wife, we thought she was little Strict but later on we understood why she was like that because she is very professional about her work and only speaks when it requires which is very right, We believe she knows her art very well and have very much clarity in what she does.
At the time of Delivery, she was very helpful and also gave us the right guidance, after few hours of intense labor pain we decided to opt for C Section as my wife was not able to bare the pain, she is precise and to the point and explains all things very clearly before taking any decision. She is always focused on natural birth but never gave any false commitment. The only key is whatever she says just follow the same and you will see the results.
I would also like to add something about her, not only during the time of pregnancy but also post pregnancy she was kind enough to give us few advices that how we can avoid myths of the world which generally people give you when you return back to your home.
I personally feel that visiting Dr. Madhuri was our best decision.
We are blessed with a baby girl and really happy with our experience with Madhuri mam.
Thank you Doctor for all the support you have provided us!

When we moved from Bangalore motherhood to Pune motherhood, then I met Dr. Laha. I was 4months pregnant when we started our treatment with her and our first meeting resulted in a rollercoaster ride in my pregnancy journey. There are several tests when explained to my husband and me we were concerned as these tests are done much earlier, and as it was only to get to know whether we'll have a healthy baby or not but this was something no "parent to be" wants to hear. We anyways went ahead with NIPT test which resulted in a nightmare for us. It came positive for xxx syndrome and we were advised to drop the child but before taking any final call Dr. suggested to go for another test(last test) amnio which carries a 1% miscarriage chance and we went ahead with that as well, as our last hope, and to our and Doctor's surprise that came out completely opposite of the NIPT. Now the catch here was all these tests can not guarantee 100% correct results, they have limitations. But sometimes the 1% negativity also gives you pretty hard time. Well alls well that ends well. We continued our journey with her and all the tests which were suggested were taken and with utmost care when I entered my 8th month I started feeling pain in my lower abdomen which when i told dr. she immediately gave me few medicines to ease that. It was 2 weeks for my delivery when i felt the same pain but this time with higher intensity and we rushed to hospital. Reaching there on time was luck as i was 6cm dilated and any more delay might have resulted in something bad. Upon reaching i was taken into delivery room and Dr., If she would not have supported/scolded my husband and me they way she did, we must have lost our hopes of normal delivery. She asked my husband to encourage me and asked me as well to keep up with the pain and not give up easily. That's how we became parents of a healthy boy with normal delivery and with doctors support and guidance.

From the day, I knew about my pregnancy, We Consulted Dr. Madhuri Laha for the entire pregnancy. Whenever I visited, Dr. Madhuri Laha mam for my follow up I felt a new positivity, and my energy level has automatically gone up. At the beginning of my pregnancy, there were times when I feel very nervous and low and I will give all the credit to Dr. Madhuri Laha for giving me the strength, positivity, and utmost care. She helps patients to understand things in layman's language even the most complicated terms. Every time we visited, she gave us detailed information.
I am having a background of DVT (Deep vein Thrombosis), but the doctor has given us the confidence to overcome this & suggests we take Heparin injection throughout pregnancy. In addition, during 1st-trimester blood, testing my husband & I were diagnosed with sickle cell trait & before continuing this pregnancy doctor suggest, a CVS test to identify the abnormalities. The result came in our favor & my pregnancy continue. During the last month of pregnancy, mam advised us few tests & suggested physician doctor take a decision on a planned cesarean as it is a high-risk pregnancy. The 2 days before the cesarean mam inform us we have to stop Heparin injection for 24 hr. before the operation & mam cleared our doubts, about how they will control the blood clotting post-delivery.
After my cesarean DVT pump installs on my feet to stop blood clotting. I was advised to mobilize earliest to recover fast rather than medicine & fluid. My little angel & I both are healthy & hale. All this credit goes only to Dr. Madhuri Laha mam & their team. The journey of 37+1-week with Dr. Madhuri Laha mam was awesome.
