I had cervical spine surgery at one of the most reputed hospital in Mumbai. I wasn’t enough blessed, there was human error in my hip wound, they forgot big gauze in my wound from where they took bone to graft in neck. I struggled for 37 days with discharge from that wound, abused with antibiotics, painkillers and fever medicines. I wanted to travel back to US, I thought let’s check with surgeon how much medicines I need to carry to US. I had got reference of Dr Satish Pattanshetti from my another doctor friend. I walked in to Jupiter hospital, he asked me to lay down, meanwhile he read my discharge summary. He noticed gauze immediately and tried to pull it, thinking that it’s small piece, he noticed it’s not coming and I started screaming with pain. He told us what’s the issue. Me and my husband couldn’t believe that he showed us the portion of cloth which he could pull out. We both were shattered, he suggested to get admitted and we need to remove under Anastasia, since I had limited time I asked doctor, can we try under local Anastasia. He said if you could support I can do it. Within 15 mins big gauze was out. I was out of danger. He taught my husband how to do dressing at home before we leave from india. Gave me assurance that I will be fine in 2-3 weeks. Today while dressing my husband said wound is almost healed, you will be wound free by this weekend. I am so thankful and grateful for Dr. Satish’ help. You came in my life as God’s angel (Farishta).

Most important thing in these 7 days visit he was so calm, he let me took out my frustration, I was depressed. You saved my life. Doctor also provided support on my queries even though I was in US. This is true relationships with patient. I said earlier I wasn’t enough blessed but I must say I was blessed I met Dr Satish😊

One word goes right with Dr Mangesh Danej " a cardiologist with golden heart" I am 64 . My BP & BPM level was not in control for past 2 months . After taking multiple opinion, I visited Dr. Mangesh at Jupiter during 1st week of Feb . He heard me out very clearly with no sign of impatience. (I have past experience where doctors come to conclusion without fully listening to you ) . Dr Mangesh advised me to go through certain tests to evaluate the reason for my BP & BPM variation . Best part is he himself was physically present watching the monitors for results when Ech2D , Stress-test was being done . Most of my test reports was good but he could finally locate some variation in stress-test ECG. He suggested to go for Angiography , which i accepted to expedite . I was detected with 75+ blockage at one spot in LA. On my concurrence doctor went for a Stent. The entire process was painless and the fear that i had of sever pain while removing the syringe after Angiography was well handled. Dr. Mangesh's advise after the surgery and his candid feedback without scaring the patience has impressed me a lot . He even answered all the doubt that my wife had on the treatment , recovery & care to be taken . I am under medication post surgery and i am confident to be 100% fit in couple of weeks. Dr. Ashish Pokharkar is a GEM of a person! I was diagnosed with sinonasal carcinoma (a rare kind of cancer) in July 2021 and Dr. Ashish treated me for the same. Unfortunately before him I met an ENT surgeon who misleaded me under the name of mucormycosis (which was actually a cancer) and gave me wrong treatment. After we got to know about the cancer we met Dr. Ashish through another oncologist and he guided us through the entire treatment. He is very friendly, humble, skilled professional who understands the patient's state of mind and supports him to get through the entire course with confidence. I had to undergo a complicated skull surgery as well and he got the best neurosurgeon for this. There was also a lump in my breast and just by physical diagnosis with his expertise he was sure that it was non cancerous. My surgery took around 8 hrs and he was present in the operation theatre even after his part was done to make sure everything goes well. He is one of the very rare doctors who takes the complete responsibility of the patient. From choosing the best hospital, involving the best surgeons, skillfully performing the surgery, till the patient goes back home with a smiling face, he takes cares of everything.

I was fortunate to know his wife Dr. Shital is an ENT surgeon and they both worked together along with the neurosurgeon on the day of my surgery. They both visited me daily till my discharge date and made sure I was doing well, even though it used to get late for them to reach their home at night. Like a family they both cared for me, made sure the hospital staff is treating me good. Being such a well known onco surgeon he is so down to earth. No words can express my gratitude towards him, he is a very kind, noble and someone because of whom I was able to fight this battle! I got reference of Dr. Satish Pattansheeti from my own uncle, so we took his consultation for my wife's laparoscopic surgery in Jupiter Hospital, Baner, Pune. From Day 1 till post surgery follow up date, he has always been explaining everything very politely and made us feel confident on the laparoscopic surgery. We had the surgery on 1st April, 2023. He took extensive care of each and every patient post the surgery and explained and clarified any queries that the patient's relative had in mind. He even told us to reach out to him anytime, if we have any doubt that may pop up later in mind.

On the post surgery follow up date, he discharged my wife from all restrictions with very few medicines just for 10 days. Few months earlier, my parents met with major accident in which one foot of each was severely injured. 90% of the injury was due to tissues rupture and required plastic surgeon attention. Looking at the damage on my father's leg, there was likely probability of foot amputation as there was no skin on top and bottom of with crushed ankle. When we went to Doctor, for treatment he gave us the confidence that he would be able fix the foot and most likely amputation will not be required. He explained the details of flap surgery he was going to do for both mom and dad to save their foot and his explanation was easy enough for a layman to understand. After multiple rounds of surgeries after 4 months, both my parents are able to walk independently again. He gave personal attention to visit on daily basis to check the condition of operated part, and guided required precautions from time to time. We were impressed by his in-depth experience, knowledge, dedication and simple post recovery recommendations to keep cost low. He was ready to answer every query of ours till the time we understand it thoroughly and up-to our satisfaction. I had suffered with severe pain for a very long time but no one understand the problem, Through an MRI Dr. Tushar Spotted the Problem in 2018 and after Spine Surgery i get instant relief.

I Still remember it was a Sunday and pain was unbearable and doctor came on Sunday evening and stay till 1AM in night and he go home once I get relief all the time he was there even if it is a ward or MRI room, Such a support from doctor if you receive you cross your half way of treatment I was surprised the way he treated and supported me.

There is a saying “Doctors are next to god.”Have you heard of blessing in disguise. Dr. Deepali is one for us.

We were trying for a baby since 2018 but most of the efforts were in vain, last option we started with IVF with a gynaecologist in 2019. IVF journey was a roller coaster ride for us, but at last it was a success. However, me and my husband were not satisfied with the treatment after concieving for the IVF gynec.

We search for doctor on practo and found good reviews for Dr. Deepali Nirawane. We met her in 2nd trimester, discussed our case and she was ready to take this up. We used to meet Dr. in her own clinic (orange healthcare) as well and in Jupiter hospital. There was no difference in the treatment despite of the location.

My anxiety level with too high when I met Dr. Nirawane, she helped me calm down and was available 24*7 to repond to my queries/concerns. Dr. Deepali spends ample amount of time with the patient to discuss the queries and also share good explanation converting medical terms to common man’s language.

She helped me to have a smooth pre-natal journey. She always avoids unnecessary medcines and tests. I delivered (c-section) a baby girl at Jupiter hospital.

Do not visit this place if you have a genuine concern and value your hard earned money. I'm sharing my experience here for people to understand a few things to consider before visiting this clinic.I was affected by shingles because of which I had a bruise near my eyebrow. I was consulting a dermatologist and was on meds to get rid of the infection. Once it was done and as I had an upcoming event at my place I wanted to check if the bruise on my face can be worked upon. My dermatologist suggested that I visit Dr. Swapna Athavale at Jupiter hospital in Baner. The day I visited for the surgery which was pre-scheduled at 11 AM, the doctor turned up 1 hour late. They made me sign a consent letter which as a layman I signed without understanding. At the time of discussion she told me that it is a very minor bruise and it will heal in a few days and the end result will just be a small line due to the stitch.Well she charged me 10k fees calling it plastic surgery, asked me to buy meds worth 1.5k - 2k for recovery. I went for a follow-up to get the stitches removed, to which she made me wait for another hour, asking me to apply the same ointment she had suggested for a few more days.Ultimately when she removed the stitches, it was just like it was before. When questioned, she tried reasoning with me that it will take some time. After some time nothing really changed and that's when she told me that my eyebrow muscle is much stronger than expected. I'm very glad I decided to consult Dr. Mangesh Danej for my dad's hypertension issue. My dad had accelerated hypertension and the earlier cardiologist we were consulting couldn't diagnose the issue right. But Dr. Danej, in just one consultation, could diagnose the issue right and we could see a positive difference in my dad's health within a week. Dr. Danej gave us ample amount of time, listened to our problem carefully, and then explained the root cause of the issue in very detail. He obviously added and changed the medications, but also stressed on how to improve the condition and get rid of the problem completely by lifestyle and diet changes. His explanation to diet and daily routine changes came along with detailed reasoning, which in turn motivated us to follow it judiciously.
