Dr. Pandit's Clinic For Dental Excellence And Implant Centre

I am an international traveller and by default it is tough to stick to a single dentist. Yet, over all these years I have been able to manage with just 3 dentists and the last one for the longest time of about 7-8 years. However, this time I decided to seek a second opinion considering I had not paid a visit in 3 years and I wanted to make sure I was on the right track as I get older :).

And a visit to & treatment at Dr V. Pandit's clinic was very satisfying and comforting in simple words. I think I have found a permanent dentist - thanks to my dad who had recommended me this clinic based on his personal experience.

The Key features that made my visit well worth it and why I am satisfied with my experience:

# Friendly approach & clear explanation - starts with analysis of the photographs of the teeth/gums with the patient (shown on computer screen)

# Clear and easy to understand plan of action with time required & planning options

# On the spot price indication and suggestions/recommendations to ensure best & essential treatment

# Gentle treatment and patient is at ease - impressive pain management

# Treatment is done to satisfaction with continuous feedback - so the patient follows the steps, thus not in the dark

# Patient dental history well documented for future treatments - full history maintained and shared with the patient

# Waiting time at the clinic is minimal and appointment scheduling is not very long, thus convenient when you are in a hurry (other reputed dentists tend to have a longer waiting time)

# Appointment reminders are timely and quite handy (via sms, email and by phone)

# There is a short de-briefing after every treatment to clear doubts and/or to explain any follow-up measures

# Several modern treatment options/techniques with lastest equipment

Having said that, it would be nice to have a slightly more competitive pricing and hopefully some discount(a) for returning clients !

Overall, we feel that the treatment was carried out satisfactorily and a very good hand ****************** Thank you for nice job done.

We were satisfied with the clarifications received against queries we asked time to time. Moreover, our understanding was corrected wherever required with detailed explanations during the course of treatment which we liked.

Things we liked most -

Explanations were duly supported with snapshots taken and shown over computer monitor. This enhanced the understanding of problem as well as fix which was carried out

Follow up of appointment both via email as well as over cell-phone

Clarity about next step of treatment was duly explained

Hygiene at clinic was properly maintained

Clinic staff was good and supportive

Things we would like to recommend -

Costing aspect needs to be worked out. Probably, there can be a tabular format indicating cost/charges/fee against fixes carried out. (break up of each and every item).

(something like one get from people who takes care of servicing of your car. They inspect your vehicle and provide a summary before starting their work.)

A Summary report post treatment should also be given to the patient from future perspective.

Been an old loyal patient of this Dr but my recent treatment experience left me disappointed and mildly shattered.* **** ***** ** ***** ** ** * ****** ******** ** *** ** ** **** ******* With that expectation in advance, here is the experience.I got 5 fillings done at the cost of 15000. The rate of 3000 per filling is steep but then one might say treatment is quality and the clinic is in a plush area like Baner. So leave aside Baner and talk about quality.After the last filling, I noticed a broken molar chipped and it gave me sharp pain. I went back saying it happened during treatment and should be fixed. The doctor says it is not my fault and it'll take Rs 2000 to fix it and there is no guarantee when it will come off. Now we can argue for ages about this. But the fact is that the tooth chipped off during treatment and I never had sharp pain before that if it happened.Sorry part ** *** ** ******* ****** ** **** * ***** ******* *** can be comforted with nice words and give the whole thing the benefit of doubt for the sake of relationship. Even my wife had been a regular patient. But no - it's not my fault. Pay 2000 or leave was the attitude.During treatment I had some small gum injuries also and Dr could have mentioned giving some analgesic gel but then that's probably none of Drs concern.I had to visit another dentist to solve my gum injuries.All in all this is the last treatment of me and my wife here. I used to refer my colleagues and in-laws here but not anymore.

I was happy to see latest technology, state of the art clinic and set up. Was pleasantly surprised to see x-ray was done within a min and result was visible instantaneously. Liked the way Dr Vidya explained all aspects of problem through X-ray and actual photographs which was very easy and clear to understand problem and then treatment needed. Also during / after treatment, shared visuals on treatment done. It was interactive treatment at all stages which gives desired comfort, especially for patients who like to understand treatment. Very good experience and will be happy to recommend.
