I took my younger brother for psychiatric treatment. He had been suffering from chronic mental illness for past 6 years. Everyone in my family was worried about his condition and disappointed with the effect of earlier treatment he received at various clinics in Patna, Ranchi and Delhi. Then I read about Dr. Soumitra Pathare on his contribution in recently passed mental health bill in Parliament. We went with lots of hope and expectations and let me tell you, he has not disappointed. I am writing this review after 2.5 months of our first visit and I can happily say that my brother's condition has improved considerably. He is getting good sleep now and looks happy. He started doing exercises and not feeling irritated anymore. Some more healing is still required which I sincerely hope will be done with Dr. Pathare's prescribed medicines. Dr. Pathare listens to the problem very attentively and patiently and tries to get to the root of it. His clinic has very good support staff as well which takes good care of pre consultation procedures.

I took my father for the psychiatric consultation as he had knee replacement surgery and things started getting worse after that. The surgery affected his brain and he started behaving abnormally and used to get scared even after the knee recovered perfectly and he was able to walk again. The experience was great with Dr. saumitra pathare. On the first visit his assistant meets you to prepare the case history. He was great, patient, attentive and gave enough time to go through the case in detail. He went through the detailed history and then presented the case to doctor who recommended the medicine. Effects can be seen from the first day and my father's health is getting improved on daily basis.

My husband has been his patient since 2006. ***** **** ** ******* *** *** **** ***** ***** *** *** ***** * Being thankful is very small word. His medication works ********
more..The doctor was very insensitive. I told him I had been feeling suicidal for about 15 days and wanted to come back to Pune because I had friends in Pune so I would have some motivation to get out of bed maybe once a week. He implied that I'm faking to be suicidal because "suicidal people don't go out to meet friends and stay home"
