Ms. Urveez Kakalia

Urveez has helped me breakdown challenges into simple analogies & better cope with situations which I would otherwise imagine difficult to deal with. Our weekly sessions have always been a reflection of my previous week's learning and how to progress further. Urveez's techniques, exercises and even reading material has helped me build my foundation stronger to meet challenges not only for the week but also for the future. I called up Ms. Urveez at around 5:30 PM on a weekday as I was facing Anxiety issues for a few days. I asked for a slot and she somehow accommodated my request and gave me a slot of 7 PM on the same day.

Accepting that I was suffering Anxiety and Depression issues were tough, but she made is quite easy for me. She was really thoughtful about my situation, gave me a non-judgemental, easy-going and friendly platform to open up and share my issues. She ensured that I was comfortable talking to her, knowing in-depth about my issues and feelings.

She gave simple yet very effective exercises which helped me recover. She was available on phone and ensured that I felt to share anything that bothered me.

Given my unpredictable schedule, I could not commit or book her appointment beforehand but I was not denied a slot - quite accommodating.

Overall, after the therapy, I have gained my focus back, with fewer distractions and the best part - started living in the present.

I would recommend people who are suffering, to take therapy - this will change your world for good.

Sessions with Ms.Urveez helped me put things in perspective. She suggested many effective technique to help me tackle my anxiety and handle difficult situations. She is patient and extremely professional and understanding that put me at ease to open up freely with her.

Urveez never fails to prepare a very comfortable space where I could share my thoughts and emotions. Usually, it takes time to get comfortable with any therapist. Her methods work really well for me. I assumed it would take a long time for mental health to show signs of improvement, but since the day one of her sessions, I could see a significant progress in the way my thoughts were forming.

It was difficult to accept certain things in life, even though I knew those things, I was not able to implement them in the context of me and my life. Through the sessions I did with Ms. Kakalia accepting things in my life got much easier and I was able to understand my behaviour much better and think about my problems with a different perspective.

I was very hesitant in the beginning and purely connected with her because of her great reviews here. And trust, they’re all right! She makes you feel at ease, no rush and let’s you speak openly without any judgment.

The best part about these sessions are the perspectives and learning’s you come out of it. They are raw, unfiltered and more importantly conscious. She is a great explainer and makes you really ‘UNDERSTAND’ the underlying issue.

I had first visited Urveez because I was having some problems in my personal life. I was not able to group my thoughts. I was also facing anxiety issues. Moreover, I had and still have major complex issues. However, after steady sessions with Urveez, I've learnt to deal with my anxiety in a better way and I've also learnt a lot about myself. I still have a long way to go when it comes to knowing myself better but I'm sure with the help of Urveez, I'll get there gradually.
