This is the second time we have interacted with Dr.Pooja Sharma; first for my husband and then our teenager. Both times we have had amazing tangible results...her diet plans are easy to follow, with no complicated patterns or totally cutting out things we really like. She is a very patient friendly doctor and is always there to help clear doubts and give alternates, if something is not working in terms of getting certain food items or tweaking recipes.

My husband had followed Dr Pooja Sharma’s diet programme a decade ago, so I have known her since a long time. I have always been a fit and active person. However, in the beginning of 2024 (age 51 years), I suffered from weight loss and fatigue. None of my test reports showed any abnormality, but the extreme weakness went on for many weeks and was just not improving. That’s when I realized that I needed professional help. I contacted Pooja and she gave me assurance that we could work it out. She started altering my diet week by week, slowly increasing carbs as well as proteins. Each week, changes were very subtle but I started seeing improvement in my weight and strength. The diet plan was scientific and always stuck to the basics. The process needed lot of patience as healthy weight gain has always been tough for me. We had to achieve this keeping in check my cholesterol and sugar, which tend to get skewed after menopause. I was enrolled in the diet programme for a whole year. Pooja was very patient in answering my long list of queries in each visit. Whenever I felt physically, mentally or emotionally low, she always encouraged me. Now I am back to good body weight and strength. Though the programme has ended, she has empowered me to manage on my own.

Working with Dr Pooja has been sheer pleasure, because of her deep understanding of Indian food and how it should be consumed to manage our weight. She recommends you to consume food from your own culture that one is accustomed to since childhood.
Dr Pooja asks you to focus on portions & timings. Also she watches over your lifestyle and gives you nice health tips, work outs or walks; none of which are tough to follow.
Pooja takes deep interest in every client, calls regularly to monitor diet, life style and changes in weight. This ensures one gets proper review, frequent course correction and sustainable weight loss.
To me Pooja never recommended forgien foods, supplements or packaged foods. She spoke to me without fail every week punctually for one year. This ensured that I lost 12 kg and I am targeting another 5 kg loss in next few months.
One great quality of a Dietician should be to intermingle a effective plan within your own life style, of travel, parties and eating out routines. Unlike my experience with many dieticians in past who requisition you to live in a Make Belief strict world, Dr Pooja prescribes diet plans that works well with your real day-to-day life, adjusting to travel, parties, the way you live.

We were referred to Dr. Pooja Sharma by my Gynaecologist Dr. Varsha Digwekar. Dr. Pooja helped me to reduce 14 kgs of weight i.e. from 84 to 70 kg in just 7-8 months. We were trying for baby and since I was PCODic my Gynaec suggested me to lose at least 10 Kgs of weight before starting any treatment. We were trying for baby for more than 6 Years and in the process we tried many weight loss programs through gym trainers as well as various dietitians and even tried medicines for controlling weight gain. But being very lazy I was not able to lose more than 2-3 Kgs every time. When I started my weight loss program with Dr. Pooja, in our very first meet itself she was articulate in developing a very positive attitude in my mind that helped me very much in my weight loss journey. Unlike other dietitians or gym trainers, she didn’t asked me to change my lifestyle nor suggested much food changes in my day to day life. Dr.Pooja Sharma proved to be a great saviour and mentor for me in reducing my gigantic weight and controlling high blood sugar level within normal parameters without any medication and only by her easy -to- follow diet regimen and workout advice. She listened to the issues very meticulously and analysed them threadbare to chart out the diet plan . I was overwhelmed when she did recommend milk , ghee and curd in good quantity in my diet despite my being obese which suited to my taste buds too, which otherwise were prohibited by some doctors. Her diet plan , excellent guidance , fabulous ambience of the clinic and her affectionate behaviour cumulatively make her the best dietician one must consult for the overall wellbeing of self and family . I went to her after pregnancy when I was experiencing fatigue,she made a chart consisting of a well balanced diet and also ensuring my kid gets all nutrients since I was still feeding.Weight loss we will target later, now eat good food for your and your kids health, that is what she said and believe me her diet plan really helped me. Later after a year, I went to her for weight loss. She makes a diet chart according to your body type and lifestyle and changes it as and when required.30 mins brisk walk along with following the diet is all that she asks. I had a great experience with Dr. Pooja's diet plan. With the recommended diet and everyday 45 mins walk I not only lost 11 kgs in 2 months but feel more energetic, healthy and young. Dr. Pooja’s had advised me some tests which was helpful to get some deficiency cured in my body and according she gave me the diet plan.
