Dr. Niketa is truly one of the sweetest and most dedicated doctors I have ever met. She patiently explains every concern in detail and focuses on identifying the root cause rather than just treating the symptoms. She recommends proper tests to understand the exact reason behind issues like pimples and pigmentation etc issues.
She is very patient and takes the time to explain everything calmly and clearly, making her patients feel comfortable and confident.
Although the consultation and skincare products may seem expensive, they are truly worth it. The skincare products have been very effective for me. I have been consulting her for the past 2–3 years, and my skin has improved a lot.
Thank you so much, Dr. Niketa, for your care, guidance, and constant support.
Dr. Niketa Sonavane was very patient and understanding. She clearly explains treatment options and takes time to answer all questions. Although the wait time was a bit long, the staff was attentive and the environment comfortable. I would 100% recommend her.
Dr. Niketa Sonavane explains problems and solutions in detail, which helps me understand the treatment process and stay informed about my progress. Visited For Acne / Pimples Treatment
My first visit to Doctor Niketa was about 3 months prior to my wedding. I did a lot of research before getting to her clinic in order to make sure that nothing goes wrong before my big day.
My problem was acne - not the very obvious big pimples but tiny tiny bumps running all throughout my face. And a few brown spots on one side of my cheek from old ones that I tweezed.
I had read so much about Doctor that the first appointment I was excited and nervous hence I made it on time. However I ended up waiting for a good 1 hour outside the clinic - which actually was not a problem at the time. This routine continued almost always though - every time I would wait for over an hour for my turn inspite of pre-booking appointments online or doctor recommending or rescheduling appointments for me. It was the same always. But dare you not be late because our Doctor sure don't like that!
Coming back to my first visit, I shared my problems and I did also confess that I do not drink a lot of water and am a junky eater (from what I know a dermat would ask you to stop that right away?)
But Doctor seemed calm and explained what my problem was without closely observing my skin. Therefore she recommended I do a treatment called Azelan Peel. But before we start that we need to prep my skin and so she gave me a bunch of products for my skin routine.
Well, I was a bride-to-be I was really excited about getting peeled all my pimples and spots away. She recommended I do six sittings of the peel starting the next week of my first appointment. With a guarantee of results & 100% visible difference from the second peel onwards. Why wouldn't I go for it? Only T&C was I pay for all the products and for all the six sittings of the peels in advance or else if I wish to pay per peel I'll have to pay extra. (You know the drill!) So I went for it.
Three peels down and no difference, in-fact my skin was getting worse. However this is not something the doctor noticed herself. I had to bring it out to her - she was all set for the fourth peel! After I told her I wasn't happy, she again calmly explained the alternative - which was comedon extraction and I agreed to it (that turned to be my 4th sitting btw) So basically she manually tweezed out every thing visible from my face. To admit - my skin did feel smoother after this treatment immediately. However now that time has passed I do observe multiple scarring wherever the doctor had tweezed/cut.
5th sitting and doctor decides to take the extreme peel treatment - so this is the highest grade (don't know the name) and for days your skin looks burnt but when it peels it looks like you've got baby skin. Again for 2 days after peel my skin was good but then it turns out I start getting the big red pimples (which I never had - at least not so much)
According to the doctor all the impurities were coming out, so whatever. Last sitting again we decide to do comedon because apparently my skin cannot take new age treatments and dude, we are a week prior to my wedding!
On my wedding day - I think I had the most number of red pimples on my face than any other day of my life. I cried and cried and cried because my face looked terrible. Sure the doctor was polite, sure the doctor was available on phone. But did the doctor know her job?
To my experience and readings about her - I have come to conclude her solution to all acne problem is azelan and a bunch of products from Bioderma and La Roche Posay.
I did talk to the doctor about refund but she sure knows the trick. Extremely disappointed with her treatment and products although she says it's top class I think she really need to look into one's skin in more detail to determine the problem rather than using the same treatment for everyone with acne.
If you're looking to get conned with a major hole in your pocket, and want a face full of acne before your big day - please visit doctor Niketa Sonavane.

Dr. Nikita is one of the sweetest doctors I have ever met. She has a kind demeanor and was very patient with me in all her 4 consultations I had with her. However, In terms of actually treating my condition, Dr. Nikita caused more harm than good. I consulted Dr. Nikita because of the good reviews that she had, and so I wanted to provide an account of my own experience with her.
I saw Dr. Nikita towards the end of June 2015 because my skin had started erupting in much more severe acne than I had experienced before. On my first consult, Dr. Nikita prescribed me some new washes and some vitamins, asked me to try them for two weeks and then come back to her.
On my second consult, Dr. Nikita told me that I needed Azelan chemical peels, and that she was positive that they would help clear my skin for good. I was really nervous about the chemical peels, but she assured me that 6 sittings of them would do the trick. A couple of days after the first peel, my skin erupted in the most scary acne I have ever seen, to the point that I was too embarrassed to go to work.
I consulted Dr. Nikita again and she said that was not A week later, Dr. Nikita gives me another peel and tells me things will get better. Fourth consult, Dr. Nikita gives me one more peel, but then tells me that I need to start a low dose of Isotretinoin (a fairly serious medication) to really clear my skin. She tells me I don't need any more peels, and that she will see me three months later.
I was really nervous about starting Isotretinoin as it can have some serious side effects, so I decide to wait for some time, in the meantime, my skin gets bad to worse. I see another doctor, who asks me to get an ultrasound and blood test done, which shows that I have Poly cystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) a hormonal disorder which is very common amongst women in their 20s and 30s. What is the most common side effect of PCOS? Yes, you guessed it- Acne.
I have been treating my PCOS and my skin has gotten back to normal. Of course Dr. Nikita had no way of knowing I had PCOS, but I think any good dermatologist would ask their patient to get some normal tests done before prescribing expensive peels (must have cost me like 10-15k).
Overall, I felt cheated of my money and more importantly, the two months I could have started treating my PCOS had I been diagnosed correctly.
Dr. Niketa Sonavane gave me the right advice for my acne scars treatment. The clinic environment was very nice, and my appointment started on time. I would definitely recommend her to others.
*** ****** ******** ** *** ** *** **** ************** ** ******* She is very ************** patient, and up-to-date with the latest skin care technology. Her clinic is warm and inviting, and the staff are well trained. Although her treatments are costly, they are result-oriented. I have been seeing her for over a year and highly recommend her advice and treatments if it suits your budget.
Dr. Niketa Sonavane really takes time to understand the patient's concerns and looks into the root of the problem before suggesting treatment. The clinic environment and staff were good, and the wait time was reasonable. So far, the consultation seems satisfactory, and I'll know more after the complete treatment.
