Dr Neelu Jain, the distinguished Physiotherapist in Kandivali west pulled a miracle on me. Yes. Its a fact. My left leg was jammed. I couldn’t walk without support and suffered miserably from acute pain. I had consulted a renowned Orthopaedic surgeon in Bandra who barely checked me for 5 minutes and straightaway suggested surgery. It was a terrible situation. I personally believe that Surgery is not a guarantee or an immediate answer to many ailment. Physiotherapy is also a powerful alternative remedial treatment . Sadly certain orthopaedic surgeon do not advocate Physiotherapy as a curing process. They are in a hurry to put you under the knife; am sure you know why. Yes, Physiotherapy is a slow process and one has to be fortunate to find the right Doctor. I definitely found my Healer.

Four year earlier I had consulted Dr Neelu Jain for a back problem. Recalling her beneficial treatment I immediately fixed an appointment. Dr Neelu Jain and her son Dr Gaurav Jain conducted a thorough diagnosis of my left leg and pointed out exactly what was causing it and what possible physio treatment could be done. In short I had developed a ‘foot drop’ because of bone degeneration in L4/L5. Due to that my left leg had become almost an inch thinner than my right. Muscle and nerve management needed to be attempted and achieved with a dedicated Physio program. It would be a gradual process. No instant remedy mind well.

Post 30 continuous sessions of physio therapy the miracle happened; results began showing. I started walking without a limp, without support. My left leg was getting back to normal regaining muscle strength, flexibility and volume. Dr Neelu’s Juniour doctor Bhagyashri Salunke and Forum Thakker need to be especially mentioned here for their focussed dedicated help and vigorous exercise routine. Well equipped with proper physio equipment Dr Neelu Jains Alankrit clinic has an amicable and well trained staff too.

Today after two months I have recovered 90 percent. The 10 percent left shall also be healed soon god willing. In order to remain fit i have decided to do Dr Neelu Jains physio exercises religiously for the rest of my life: Prevention is better than cure.

Recently my Mom was advised for Physiotherapy after her surgery for shoulder bone fracture.
