I visited Dr. Avanee on last November with serious GERD problem,my situation was too bad at that time, multiple doctors thousand medicine nothing

was working for me. Her food therapy is worked for me like magic. She designed my diet chart so well that I can eat maximum and still loose weight. She always stresses to eat well ,it's not necessary to starve to loose weight.I have been in a diet which includes lots of rice banana and high carbs but still lost a significant amount of weight which shows her capabilities to understand her patients actual problem and design there diet chart which will give them all the nutrition as well make them loose weight.

I have always been a healthy near normal weight lady. During my pregnancy, I gained a lot of weight.

Avanee has been doing food counselling for most of my family members.

So, I too visited her... I was not sure, but had to try it... Lots of inhibition as was breastfeeding my 6 month baby...

Seeing her diet chart, I was confused whether would I loose weight, coz there was more food suggested to be eaten than what I was eating...

In the first week, I lost 1.5 kgs.. Then on, it's been 4 months including a 10 day Switzerland trip, and I have managed to loose 16 kgs... Still going on!

Had been under Dr.Avanee Parekhs guidance for weight loss for couple of months.

--Reduced my weight by 2 kilos...Not a considerable weight loss, if you go by numbers

---But, i learnt to eat wisely, saw a marked improvement in my energy levels, sleep n levels of stamina

I have been consulting Dr. Avanee for the past 5 months and have managed to loose 10kg of weight since then.

She is a wonderful person, well versed in her trade and her diet recommendations have helped me immensely. Due to my obesity, I was unable to walk for small distances but her motivation and support has encouraged me to do 2.5- 3 km daily now.

I would like to write about the wonderful experience I had with the dietician Avanee.I had put on weight but was postponing addressing it but good sense prevailed and I approached Avanee.I must admit that reason for not visiting a dietician was that I was afraid that I would have to starve myself to lose weight. But contrary to my expectations,Avanee understood my needs and suggested diet plans suiting my taste buds and my cultural background too. Being a South Indian I didn't have to sacrifice on rice, idlis and dosas too. I can say my diet was planned more according to what I preferred eating combined with walking. I managed to lose 8kgs after 3months of this plan and now after almost 7 months I have further lost 2kgs and am maintaining the same. Thanks to Avanee I feel more fit and energised now.
