Mr. Rajendra Pawar

Rajendra Pawar completed his Bachelors of optometry education at Aditya Jyot Institute of Optometry, Mumbai. He completed long term fellowship in Ocularist at Shekhar Eye Research Centre, Mumbai & short term fellowship at L.V.Prasad Eye Institute,Hydrabad also Specialty Contact Lenses such as Boston Ocular Surface Prosthesis, Rose K lenses & Orthokeratology in Boston Foundation For Sight,India.He was also Founder and Head of the department of Ocular Prosthesis & Contact lens services at Aditya Jyot Eye Hospital Pvt Ltd till July 2012.His clinical interests include Specialty Contact Lenses such as Rose K Lenses & Scleral Lenses in further advance contact lens fitting like Keratoconus, Irregular cornea, Dry Eyes & Steven Johnson Syndrome, His research interest lie in new types of Ocular & Maxillofacial prosthesis. Rajendra Pawar has been recognized by the Scleral Lens Education Society (USA).His other field interest also includes Low Visual Aids.
