We were referred to Dr Amiti by a friend, whose wife just had twins at Sunshine. During the 6th month of my wife's pregnancy we had shifted from Byculla to Vikhroli.
We were very concerned about finding a really good doctor & hospital during the COVID lockdown. We reviewed all our options over & over again. Finally narrowing it down to Dr Amiti. (I'm glad we made that choice)
We were looking for good but trust me we landed up with the "Best". Team Sunshine lead by Dr Amiti is one of the finest teams I have interacted with. Her assistant Chaitali always ready to accommodate your appointments. The nurses out there every single one would walk in the room with a smile happy to assist you. Be it the janitors or the pantry staff all carry the same vibe. The hospital is very hygienic, classy making you comfortable when your there for a visit or admission.
This is only possible when the person leading that team i.e. Dr Amiti has that same attitude & vibe. She will always welcome you with a bright smile, her strong personality, crisp professional knowledge, gives you a clear understanding of everything during each stage. She is a keen listener & will answer every question you ask. I have interacted with many doctors but some one like Dr Amiti who is so humble & down to earth is not easy to find.
We were very concerned about last minute C-section, which is a common thing now days. As not many doctors wait for natural labor post your due date. However Dr Amiti kept motivating my wife that she could do it & used all the natural methods to induce labor.
We were blessed we chose her & Team Sunshine to have our first baby girl. My wife had a safe & normal delivery on 22nd Dec 2020, all thanks to Team Sunshine & special thanks to Dr Amiti.
