Dr. Vedant H Karvir

To begin with, I got to know about Dr. Karvir through google search while I was looking for doctor for stomach related problems. I read both good and bad comments but decided to consult him for my mother. The first thing that I was impressed with was that he responds to the negative reviews. This is very uncommon because not everyone bothers.

Coming to the main point on the diagnosis, my mother (64 years old) has been suffering from stomach related issue since years now and was on liquid diet for almost 2 months before we consulted Dr. Karvir. His diagnosis was perfect. Just after our first visit and starting his medications, my mom was able to consume 'food'. Some medicines did not suit her, but Dr. Karvir was always available, either directly or though the RMO's. [This is what i tried - google search for the medical composition of medicines consumed by my mom to see if any component is not suitable to her based on her past history plus speak to family doctor as they would know patients history better. Some medicines cause reaction for some and may not for all. You can highlight this to the doctor you are consulting and he may be able to guide better.].

2nd important thing. we have consulted almost dozens of doctor for my moms stomach related issues, both in Mumbai and in Gujarat, but none have a dietician in their clinic (the diet consulting is free). Diet to my mind is a very important aspect especially when the problem is digestion/stomach related. Dietician too is very patient and explains things elaborately. My mom is still under treatment and we have been made to understand that such issues take time to resolve. I have faith in God that she will recover soon with Dr. Karvirs guidance.

3rd, Dr. Karvir is available on whatsapp and emails. Hence, in case his appointment is not available, we can atleast check with him through other medium and he does responds.

4th, i have read many comments about the long waiting time. But I dont see that as a major problem. What matters to me the most is that the Dr. is empathetic, ************* and patient. And honestly, I haven't come across any hospital or clinic where appointments are made dot on time. Here, the reception calls if there is any change in appointment time.

I have never written review ever. I am encouraged to write this because, I read good reviews and took my mom to Dr. Karvir and I am seeing progress.

I was being diagnosed by my family physician as HBsAg positive, 3 months back and was told by the family physician that my liver is damaged and I will not survive for long..I was depressed and sought help of the internet and came to know about Dr.Vedant Karvir. On first look, he seemed to be very young, dashing and confident doc. He explained me about the disease and the current situation of the disease in India. He advised me few tests which were quite expensive, but he gave me discount coupons for the same. After the tests results, he explained that I have Chronic liver disease and started on the antiviral treatment. In last 3 months my liver tests have improved significantly and I am feeling much motivated. Thanks to Dr.Vedant Karvir for all the positivity.

I went to Dr. Karvir for my Father in laws treatment. He was in pretty bad shape, losing weight, frequent fevers, loss of appetite. We knew he had some issues with his gallbladder and liver. He was taking treatment in Pune but was not feeling better. I came across Dr. Karvir's hospital in Malad. My experience with the doctor's treatment is excellent. He patiently listen to the patient and their problems, explains the diagnosis well and treatment is excellent. The best part is he doesnot scare the patient. My FIL is very healthy today.
