Dr. Sumeet Shah

It was in May 2016 when I was diagnosed with BREAST CANCER. This news came as a shock to my family as I was perfectly fine and didn't have symptoms and couldn't even feel the lump over my breast. My family was a bit worried but this was the time when Dr Sumeet came to our rescue. He was recommended to us by one of our close friend. My husband and myself were so much horrified that we spoke to Sumeetbhai on a Saturday late evening ( first time) - with a risk that we will be kicked out but to our pleasant surprise - he was kind enough to give us a appointment on Sunday morning ( inspite of his hectic week). Truthfully - we tried taking appointment of other best oncologists - all were too busy and gave us appointment after 7 /10 / 15 days. We felt that more than the *best* oncologists it is better to go with *known* oncologists and who is available at a phone call without any air / ego on his shoulders. We visited him to take his opinion on Sunday Morning. It was after the very first meeting that I was convinced that I'm going to get treated by Dr Sumeet. The way he comforted me and my family was overwhelming. It felt as if he took away all our worries from us - no marketing, no medical jargons etc..

In less than a week I was scheduled for the first surgery of my life. He made me comfortable to an extent that not even once I was apprehensive about the surgery. It went perfectly fine and the care Dr Sumeet took of me is beyond words.

I underwent three more surgeries after that which too went very smoothly. His entire hospital staff was very warm and welcoming. It never felt like a hospital to me.

I had developed such a bond with him that post surgery when we used to go for follow ups,I would end up chatting with him for over half an hour. My husband always had to interrupt me by reminding me that he's a doctor and there are patients waiting for him outside. His words were like painkillers for me.

Then came the CHEMOTHERAPY PHASE followed by the RADIOTHERAPY.But not even once in the entire treatment did I feel discomfort. Credit again goes to Dr Sumeet and his entire highly qualified and well experienced young and dynamic team. Can see what the said Doctors have high regards for Sumeetbhai - obviously it doesn't come easy. Hats off to Sumeetbhai's relationships with this Doctors that we hardly had any problems in terms of schedules of chemo / appointments. Sumeet bhai and his team was always there with me in every step of this fight with cancer. He is more like a family to me.He came in our life as a blessing in disguise. I'm forever indebted to him. ** ** **** ** *** *** ***

It was a great privilege and an unforgettable experience to have met Sumeetbhai. I am filled with immense gratitude to you for all you have done to me and my family. You are the convincing force to believe that Medicine is a Nobel Profession.

There are very few people who impact your life so deeply and attain a status that is untouchable by any other.Five years ago when we walked into Dr.Sumeet's cabin with my mother,we had given up all hope but as soon as he spoke to us,we knew not all was lost.A man with the highest level of ethics, ********** ********* *** the kindest heart,Dr.Sumeet is god's gift to humankind.Not only did he empathise with the extreme grief we were going through but also explained to us the available options,treatments and ways out of it gently and carefully. Five years,a successful surgery and even more successful treatment later,I can vouch for Dr.Sumeet's honesty,integrity and technical superiority,especially when it comes to treating Cancer. Having said that,Cancer is something that is beyond anyone's control but to have someone who ensures he gives you his best is a rare thing and we consider ourselves amongst the lucky ones to have been blessed by such a wonderful doctor.He is a man that I look up to even today and let me tell you that he will stay with you long after the treatment is over,unlike any other doctor I have met. He will never ever give up on you no matter what. 'Once his patient,always under his care' is kind of his motto.Thankyou Doctor for everything.

In my childhood I was taught Doctor’s are God and Dr. Summet Shah is one – so humble, caring and punctual.

He is a gem of a person – precise in diagnostic, very methodological in approach and explains the issue very well. He welcomes questions and ensures to explain it to our satisfaction.

Above all Dr. Summet Shah has a human touch in all his conversations, treatments, OPD visits, and suggests his patients to undergo ONLY for required testing and this we believe is due to his precise diagnostic and very methodological approach.

I visited him for Scalp Tumour and he very well diagnosed the issue, explained us the issue in very simple language and suggested a clear path forward. Post-surgery today I am all well and fine.

Dr. Summet Shah is a young champ who believes in treating the patients wholeheartedly and derives happiness by treating and relieving his patients from pain – truly a gentleman.

As I had a Lump below my left breast, I had to do Mammography test. A tumor was diagnosed in the report. I was asked to do FNAC test, which clearly showed that there were cancer cells in the tumor. When I came to know about the same, I was scared that my left breast would be removed.

In this regard, I met Dr. Sumeet Shah who saw my report and told that he would do breast conserving surgery i.e. remove only the tumor and not the breast. Hearing this I was so happy.

Dr. Sumeet during the entire period i.e. before and after surgery guided me in such a way which enabled me to recover soon.

I would like to thank Dr. Sumeet from the bottom of my heart for his inspirational, motivation words and also positive attitude which gave me the strength to fight the disease.
