Dr. Shirish Hastak

Dr. Shirish M. Hastak is MD (Medicine) and DM (Neurology) and a senior consultant neurologist with vast experience of 30 years in the field of neurology and particularly in stroke. He has been the Past President of the Indian Stroke Association and is the current President of the Mumbai Stroke Society. He has large experience of patients undergoing thrombolysis, mechanical clot retrieval, stenting, coiling and closure of AVM in the brain. He is passionate about stroke care and neuro critical care and is an international authority in this field. He has received the Economic Times Award as an Inspiring Neurologist, 2018. He also looks patients with epilepsy (seizures), parkinson disease, headache, giddiness as a neurologist. He is in the India Today's list (2019) of Top Docs in Mumbai (Neurologist-Stroke). He is currently practicing at the Global Hospital, Mumbai as a Regional Director, Neurology/Stroke, Neuro Critical Care.
