Having secured 86th rank (all India) in All India Medical Entrance Examination joined M.B.B.S at prestigious Seth G.S. Medical College and K.E.M. Hospital. Parel, Mumbai in 2000. He passed his M.B.B.S with various distinctions in 2004 and then completed his Internship in 2006. Ranked 39th in All India P.G. Entrance examination he secured admission again in his Alma matter – K.E.M. Hospital for Orthopaedics in 2007. Having worked in various specialties and under some of the Best Surgeons of the country, he passed his M.S. in 2010. He continued to work in K.E.M. Hospital to gain experience and achieve higher skills. Meanwhile he added the fellowship and Diplomate of the National Board (D.N.B Degree) to his academic achievement and went on to become a member of National Academy of Medical Sciences (MNAMS).He then joined M.G.M. Hospital, Parel, Mumbai, a Central Government Institute for further work experience. Soon, he got selected for the Arthroscopy and Arthroplasty Fellowship under Dr. Joon Ho Wang at Samsung Medical Centre, Seoul, South Korea and completed his fellowship. Having gained experience in Arthroscopy and Arthroplasty he continued his work at M.G.M. Hospital, Parel, Mumbai.Now, currently he is consultant at Kiaan’s Eye and Orthopaedic Centre and also attached with various suburban Hospitals for all Surgical procedures. Doctor was extremely friendly and explained my health issue thoroughly, which I truly appreciated.
However, despite having a Practo appointment and arriving on time, I was asked to wait while others were sent in before me. My appointment was delayed by 30 minutes.
The clinic had an AC, but it wasn’t turned on during peak Mumbai humidity, which made the wait uncomfortable.
Overall, while the doctor’s consultation was excellent, the clinic needs better appointment management and customer care to improve the patient experience.
The doctor was friendly and took immediate action. There wasn’t much waiting time. I had ankle pain, and an X-ray was done right away to find the issue, followed by appropriate medicine.

Dr. Samarjit Bansal is very good orthopedic surgeon, he had operated my 90 year old grandmother and surgery was done very well. And I would highly recommend Dr Bansal because he is real doctor I mean to say he has feeling to serve people he is not comerslize himself.

I booked appointment with Dr. Samarjit, but some other doctor was there, I guess he was not having experience n knowledge. He didn't address my problem & gave some generic medicine which is not specific to my problem. I will not suggest anyone for this clinic. Pls think twice before you book appointment.

The doctor heard the entire observation I had for myself and then explained what could be the cause for it. The good part was, he gave me an option of either taking xray immediately or after a week's time citing it didn't seem alarming and hence we can take a week's time. I really appreciate the time he gave and the way he explained the problem and how I can take right measures.
Very friendly and approachable doctor, xplained all matter in detail...went for shoulder pain n restricted movement of left hand. Made me do some actions like lifting hands n swinging hands to get into the depth of the problem I was facing..subscribed medicines....
