Only Dr Vernekar suggested me tonsillectomy as a permanent solution to my prob, whereas the other two drs refused to do so.. I visited the doctor for recurrent throat infections, and he treated the current infection with a dose of antibiotics and painkillers. We discussed the option of tonsil removal, and he explained the pros and cons in detail. I came to a conclusion to have the tonsils removed, and we were able to schedule the surgery soon after. I was treated very well by the hospital(Hiranandani Hospital, Powai) staff including Dr. Vernekar, Dr. Sushma and the nursing staff on my floor. I would definitely recommend Dr. Vernekar for his professionalism, care to patients, and conservative approach towards medication. The surgery was successful and I am fully recovered, 2 weeks after.

There was no wait time - I was seen as scheduled and he facilitated a further assessment on site which allayed concerns regarding ear pressure with upcoming travels for the winter holiday. He also helped clarify some important considerations which deepened my understanding of the factors impacting my health and how best to respond following treatment of current symptoms. Would be a wonderful doctor also for children as he has a very welcoming and calm personality.
