I visited Zen Spine Clinic, Malad for my mother’s treatment after she sustained a spine bone fracture due to a fall at home. My mother has multiple comorbidities with low heart pumping, diabetes, so her case was not straightforward. Despite this, Dr. Rakesh handled her treatment with great care and confidence, making the entire process smooth and stress-free for us. Due to heavy traffic, we reached the clinic a couple of hours late, yet Dr. Rakesh patiently waited for us and gave us his full attention. He carefully listened to all of my mother’s concerns, reviewed her past medical history in detail, and explained the treatment options clearly. He advised an MRI scan and mentioned that the further course — whether oral medication or a vertebroplasty — would depend on the findings. My mother was exhausted from the long journey, and the doctor was kind enough to let her rest comfortably, even though it was well past his working hours. When we expressed the need for immediate hospitalization, as my mother could not manage the pain at home, he personally arranged for an ambulance to ensure her safe transfer. Based on the MRI results, Dr. Rakesh recommended vertebroplasty, which he performed exactly as planned. The procedure went smoothly, and he continued to remain accessible afterward — always available to answer our calls and messages with patience and kindness. What truly stood out was his humility and genuine concern for the patient. In an age where many focus only on procedures, Dr. Rakesh maintains a compassionate rapport with both the patient and the family, which plays a major role in the healing process. ** **** **** *** ***** **** ** **** ** ******* **** ******* ***** **** *** ********* ********* ****** *** ************ ***** I sincerely thank Dr. Rakesh for his dedication, empathy, and professionalism. He is a rare combination of skill, patience, and compassion — truly a doctor who treats both the illness and the person. My heartfelt rating: ***** (5/5). Wishing him continued success and many more lives touched by his good work.

Four months ago, my wife underwent L4-L5 TLIF surgery under the care of Dr. Rakesh Dhake. At that time, we were filled with fear, anxiety, and uncertainty. Seeing her in constant pain and unable to even perform daily activities was heartbreaking.
But today, when I see her walking pain-free, smiling, and living her normal life again, I feel nothing but immense gratitude towards Dr. Dhake. His calm approach, clear explanations, and compassionate attitude gave us the strength and confidence we desperately needed. Throughout the journey—from the first consultation to surgery and follow-up—he treated us not just as patients, but like family.
Dr. Dhake’s skill as a spine surgeon is truly remarkable, but what stands out even more is his kindness, humility, and genuine care for his patients. We will always be grateful to him for giving my wife a new life, free from pain.
Thank you, Dr. Dhake, for being not just an excellent surgeon, but a wonderful human being.

I had been suffering from severe spine problems for almost twenty years. I constantly experienced back pain, numbness in my legs, and difficulty sleeping because of discomfort. In 2013, several doctors advised me to undergo surgery, but the possible risks made me afraid to proceed.
In September 2025, I met Dr. Rakesh Dhake at his Malad (West) clinic. He patiently explained the structure of the spine, the reasons behind my pain, and how modern technologies have made spine surgery much safer and more successful. His calm nature, **** *********, and confidence completely removed my fear.
On 14th October 2025, I underwent spine surgery performed by Dr. Dhake. The very next day, I was able to stand on my own feet. It’s been fifteen days since my surgery, and I have no pain, no numbness, and no burning sensation in my legs. I can now walk and even cook for my family without any difficulty.
My family and I are deeply grateful to Dr. Rakesh Dhake. ****** *** ****** **** ** ***** ** ******* ******** **** * ****** *** ** ******* ******* **** **** *

Dr. Rakesh Dhake sir has treated me for cervical spondylosis. I was also lucky to have worked with him and as a patient I can say thay he is a very honest and humble doctor who actually cares for the patient and focuses on individual treatment for the patient. He suggests surgery only when it is really needed and tries to optimise the conservative non surgical treatment for back pain and neck pain. If my family ever needs any spine specialist I would suggest Dr. Rakesh Dhake sir as one of the finest spine surgeon without a doubt. You may find a good spine surgeon but too find a good doctor and a good caring human being in that doctor might be difficult. That what Dr. Rakesh sir is!!

My mom's first spine surgery with implants was done by other doctor on 25 th nov 2024.Within 2 months she got infection in surgical area. Without proper examination only random antibiotics were given to mom.Which results into the severe infection i.e sepsis. Then only one option remain removing the implants and to give a deep wash .As she was in sepsis we cannot shift her to any other hospital.
After 6 days she came out of sepsis and second surgery was done by the same doctor. He removed all the implants and only give the simple wash and one more thing he has done..he compressed her one nerve which leads to severe pain in right leg.Three months she was hospitalised...with painfull, sleepless nights. She used to cry everyday...almost more than 50 painkillers were injected but no relief.
Meanwhile we come to know Dr. Rakesh Dhake Sir through his youtube videos. We decided to take a consultation. I still remember the day when me and my brother went to sir's clinic with mom's latest MRI.Just by reading the MRI sir identify the exact problem and suggested third surgery. He explained us everything in detail.
On 15 th April 2025 third surgery was done by Dr Rakesh Sir. From second day there is drastic decrease in pain.she started peacefully sleeping without painkillers. Now pain has been reduced to the greater extent and she is gradually improving. We are very thankful to him.
I am sharing this phase of life with everyone so that nobody should suffer like us.
One of the learning from this phase is to choose your doctor wisely.
