Dr. Prasad Raj Dandekar

Dr. Prasad Dandekar has 14 years of experience in Oncology and is the Head of Radiation Oncology at the Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai. He received his MD and DNB in Radiation Oncology at the apex oncology institute of India, the Tata Memorial Hospital. He was awarded the Asian Fellowship at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London following completion of 5 years of training in Tata Memorial Hospital. The Royal Marsden Hospital is the world’s first cancer institute, the largest in Europe and is renowned for its cutting edge clinical research and treatment facilities. There he received further training in the precision radiotherapy techniques, especially for Head and Neck cancers for 2 years under the able guidance of world leaders in the field of Radiation Oncology. He was subsequently involved with setting up and running the new cancer centre at the Narayana Hrudayalaya Health City in Bangalore and followed by at International Oncology Services Private Limited at Dr. L. H. Hiranandani Hospital, Mumbai over a period of 5 years. He currently heads the Radiation Oncology Department at the Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital in South Mumbai, which is a state-of-the-art Radiation Oncology centre; offering truly international quality treatment facilities to patients.
