Dr. Pooja Ghodke

Dr.Pooja Ghodke completed her MBBS from prestigious Government Medical College, Nagpur, Maharashtra (MUHS). She further completed her Master's degree in Ophthalmology (M.S.Ophth) from Government Medical College, Nagpur, Maharashtra (MUHS), and earned a GOLD MEDAL for securing Rank 1 in entire Maharashtra state. She further served her Government Bond at Municipal Eye Hospital which is the only BMC-run hospital exclusively for Eye care. She also earned a second degree in Ophthalmology - DNB Ophthalmology. Always wanted to dedicate her work in the field of Child Eye Care, Dr. Pooja further completed her Long Term Fellowship (3 years) in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus services from World's Largest Eye care facility- Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya, Chitrakoot. Madhya Pradesh, under the able guidance of her mentor- Dr.Pradhnya Sen. At Chitrakoot, she worked at the remotest areas of India through camps and conducted over 100 squint surgeries , over 100 pediatric cataracts and numerous complex Pediatric Corneal and Oculoplasty surgeries. Her kin area of interest is Pediatric Glaucoma , in which she completed her Research projects - Ologen in Pediatric Glaucomas. She is also a Fellow of International Council of Ophthalmology (FICO,UK) which is equivalent to FRCOphth standards. She is fluent in English, Hindi , and Marathi.
