Dr. Piyusha Shankar

I had taken my octogenarian mother for tooth extraction and fixed denture implant surgery to Bay Dental Associates. At first, she was apprehensive about the process, but we had a very good experience on the whole. Dr. Piyusha Shankar was very kind and supportive throughout. Her professionalism, compassion and expertise put the patient completely at ease. She clearly explained to us the various aspects of the procedure and guided us regarding the various precautions and care at every stage. Further, she conducted frequent follow ups to ensure success of the implantation procedure. The clinic maintains very good hygiene standards and the support staff is also very efficient and personable. Most importantly, the end result was excellent with regards to both aesthetics as well as functionality. Highly recommended for a positive dental experience!

Over my two consultations, one video and one in-person, Dr. Piyusha Shankar has been friendly, helpful, thorough, and clear in her explanations.

The only downside is a survey app called Practo, whose volume of messages borders on harassment. For one in-person consult, I received at least seven contacts (messages and emails), where two would have sufficed - one appointment reminder and one post-appointment survey.

Explained the issue during a routine check up and clean up for my son. Told us the filling wasn't necessary at this point and if we took care, then we could avoid the procedure. It was our decision to go back to her. She is very thorough in her work and doesn't stop till she's not satisfied with the procedure. Very patient and devotes a lot of time to you.

The clinic gives appointments in such a manner that there is hardly any wait time.
