Dr. Naganath Narasimhan Prem

He completed his MBBS from MGM Medical College Aurangabad and his MD in Geriatric Medicine from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi. His senior residency was at the Department of Geriatric Medicine, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi and he continued there as an Assistant Professor. He has an experience of 11 years in the field of Geriatrics. He established the Department of Geriatric Medicine at Jaslok Hospital in 2018.(First in South Mumbai)His major objective is to establish a strong framework for holistic elderly care through comprehensive multidisciplinary assessment and interdisciplinary interventions. He is passionate about teaching, academics and research to provide the best evidence-based care for the older person. His areas of interest include Geriatric Oncology, Geriatric syndromes, Dementia, Urinary Incontinence, Orthogeriatrics , Perioperative care of the elderly and Community Geriatrics . Believes in continuum of care of Older Adults at hospital,home and community.
