He has trained under Dr Chitranjan Ranawat ( Surgeon who operated former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee) at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, USA. He is currently attached to prestigious Jaslok Hospital and research centre as a Consultant Joint Replacement and Orthopaedic Surgeon. He is also involved in a training of upcoming Orthopaedic Surgeons at Nair Hospital Mumbai.
