Dr Jaya, BAMS, MS (Surgeon – Shalakya Tantra), CPK - has >14 Yrs of hands-on experience in treating various ailments through pure classical Ayurveda practices. After having achieved her specialisation in Shalakya Tantra (for the treatment of the organs of the neck and the head), Dr Jaya has deepened her knowledge specially in the field of skin diseases (like psoriasis, resistant fungal infections, lichen planus and other difficult to treat skin diseases), migraine, lifestyle disorders, Lung diseases (including Childhood Asthma), infertility, Gyne problems and eye diseases (weak eyesight for children, diabetic retinopathy, Glaucoma, refractive errors, macular degeneration, Cataract, Retinitis Pigmentosa etc.). Her research work on Eye treatments has been published in two international journals. Previously associated with Ayurveda facility of Indian Spinal Injury Centre (ISIC)- Vasa Kunj New Delhi, Itoozhi Ayurveda Hospital – Mayyil Kerala, Ashtamgam Ayurveda Chikitsalayam – Vavanoor Kerala, Dr Ahvad’s Dhanvantari Ayurvedic Panchkarma Super Specialty Hospital and Infertility Center – Kopargaon Maharashtra, Yogshala- New Delhi, Divya Rishi Arogyam Santhanam – New Delhi, ISHAN Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital – G. Noida. Dr Jaya, a strong believer in Ayurveda, has done extensive research on Ancient & Classical Ayurveda Practices by visiting the corners of India, where best Ayurveda practices are being followed for decades through Guru Shishya Parampara, and has worked at all such places for months to pick the best of the practices and experience in Ayurveda including Naadi Pareekhsan.
