Dr. Janhavi Thakkar

Today, I visited Dr. Jahnavi Thakkar at Dentawork for my daughter's root canal treatment. Dr. Jahnavi was commendable in handling my daughter and provided excellent treatment throughout the procedure. She was very kind and attentive to us, ensuring my daughter felt comfortable and at ease during the entire process.

However, I was taken aback by her response when I inquired about a possible discount, as the cost of the treatment seemed high compared to what my pediatric dentist friend charges for similar procedures. Dr. Jahnavi's reaction was somewhat abrupt and she left the room after suggesting that I should get the treatment done by my friend next time.

While I appreciate the quality of care and her skills as a dentist, I believe a more considerate response would have been appropriate. It's essential for healthcare professionals to maintain a polite and understanding demeanor, even during discussions about treatment costs.

Overall, Dr. Jahnavi provided great dental care for my daughter, but there's room for improvement in handling financial queries with empathy and patience.

We meet Dr Janhavi with serious complaints about my daughter with multiple tooth decay. The way she handled the situation and treated her was just the best. Don’t think twice and meet her if you are looking for any dental treatment.

We are based in Austin, TX USA and were visiting our family in Mumbai and visited Dr. Janhavi for our 8 year old child as he had an extra tooth growing internally which was blocking the main tooth from coming down it’s natural path. It was complicated further with his milky tooth still there. Dr. Janhavi examined him thoroughly and used andvanced 3D imaging to determine the most efficient proecedure. She informed us about the details and resloved all the concerns which a parent would have. She was flexible in her schedule and immediately accommodated us and performed the procedure. She is very friendly with children and my son was very comfortable during the entire 1.5 hour procedure. My son recovered very well within a week and is doing fine and his permanent tooth is growing normally as it should. Thank you very much Dr. Janhavi. - H Thakkar
