Dr. Hemalata Arora

Dr Hemlata Aurora I visited today first time. I am a Patient of Hypertension, Slightly Diabetic, C.O.P.D and Arthrites. Too many Medicines for me. So I wanted a Good General Physician to manage so many Medicines Prescribed by so many different Specialists.

My first impression is very good. The Doctor is very pleasant ready to listen and explain the issues. I exactly was looking for such a Doctor to whom I can explain my problems. I think I got the Doc I needed.

However I forgot to consult her on (1)Constipation (2) Low Haemoglobin (÷) Triglyceride and (4) Cholesterol issue. Tomorrow I will try to call her on phone. Hope she attends my Call.

Dr Hemalata has been our family physician from 2012. She has amazing way putting patients at ease. She explains every detail of the ailments and suggested medications and keenly follows up on the progress. Doesn't prescribe tests unless absolutely necessary and similarly medicines are prescribed to the minimum. She is accessible on phones even outside regular working hours when there is an emergency .My family ( of four members) is completely satisfied with her expertise and professionalism- that's precisely why we continue with her consultation even after she moved from Seven Hills hospital to Nanavati hospital.

Dr Hemalata spent adequate time diagnosing and explaining the possible reasons for my current condition and options to manage/ treat the same.

She spent time discussing the pros and cons of the treatments and alternatives. Her approach was very practical. She gives patients enough time and ensures you are aligned with her treatment at the end of the discussion.

Dr Hemlata was very precise, spot on diagnosis. She had a frank and friendly approach. Iam now 72 years of age. None of the doctors I have met resorted to the approach in treatment, she adhered to. 24 hrs after commencing her line of treatment, Iam sure her assessment was right. She was recommended to me by my daughter and son in law, who too consider her to be very dependable.

Took an appointment for the doctor for 1:30-2 slot, still had to wait outside till 3:15pm as the doctor was busy discussing personal stuff and chit-chatting with her previous patients. Me with my chest pain, another old man on wheelchair and a girl who wasn't able to sit because of sickness, all waited for her for more than an hour.

Finally, It was my turn to visit the doctor and when I did, *** ****** **** ******** ***** *** *** just told me that due to my immense pain, *** ***** **** ** ** *** ******* *** ***** I need to get a painkiller injection and come back to her.

It took 15 mins for me to get the injection and come back, and to my surprise, she had left her cabin again and the receptionist told me that she can come anytime within half and hour to one hour or more.

After multiple calls by the receptionist, she told them to ask me to wait till 4, then 4:30 and more and finally told them on call that it's not her area of expertise and they should ask me to go to an orthopaedic doctor.

Without even giving any consultation except an injection name on paper, I was told by receptionist to go to another doc

We consult doctor for my 75 yrs old and 83 yesr old dad who have multiple issues like CKD,Diabetes,Hypertension ,Thrombosis Thyroid.

Doctor is extremely patient and listens to the patients complaints attentively and with empathy.She is very courteous and puts the patient at ease.Het diagnosis is apt.Highly recommended

Dr.Hemlata is not only a great medical practitioner but also a great human being. She is very special. I hope more people come to her to get the best treatment on any health issue. She is very genuine doctor. We thank God for having her to address our health issues.
