Have been visiting Dr. Vipul Mehrotra for my kids for the last 7 years and very satisfied with his treatments and consultation. He is patient, well updated and not quick to prescribe strong medication, which I like best. He has a very gentle hand with vaccinations as well.

I did visit a doctor before this but she was always in haste... hence decided not to take a risk with my 2 month old daughter so on recommendation of a friend took her here. My wife went to this clinic for my little one’ regular vaccination for the 1st time.

While the experience with the doctor has been ok, however I was not happy with the Vaccination charges, although the clinic claimed that rate table was displayed at the corner of the reception area.

First of all, the vaccination charges charged to me was ~Rs 9k for total of 3 vaccines - combined MRP of which was ~Rs 6.3k.

On checking with the reception, I was told that it has Consultation charges and the administration charges for the vaccination totalling to Rs 2.7k. This was not clearly communicated to my wife knowing that it was my wife’ first visit. In fact I went to the doctor for vaccination and not consultation.

Further, this charges was 48% higher than the MRP and does not include the deep discount of 25-30%***** ****** *** *** ** ** **** **** **** *** ******* **** * ******* ** * ******** ***** **** * **** ****** **** *** *** *******

Secondly, not sure why they hesitate to share the payment receipts with the payment. I believe the receipt which has the breakup of charges should be shared with the patient without them asking.

When I asked for the receipt, I was told that they issue the same only if they are asked for. Since my wife has not asked, they have not issued the receipt which should not have been the case.

Also, not sure why the doctor was suggesting Cerelac for my Child ******* **** *** ******** *** *** ******

1. Most EXPENSIVE Pediatrician for consulting fees.

2. Doctor is NOT Punctual in timings for appointments which leads to huge rush of patients.

3. During Summer AC should be ON at all times in the Waiting Area, if you are charging an exorbitant consulting fees.

Our Child used to have cough very frequently but intermittently, Its for this reason we visted Vipul Mehrotra, We found the doctor good at explaining, But to my surprise he diagnosed her to have TB and started treatment of TB for 6-9 months. After 10days we consulted a few expert doctors on infectious diseases in Children and all of them concluded she doesn't has TB and it was just allergic cough!!I am saddenned and afraid!

Yes, the Dr was friendly and polite.

We been visiting the Dr for the last 11 years and we r pleased with his hospitality and even if we try to change our Dr our kids r not comfortable with anyone and also they don't get heal in time as in case of Dr. Vipul which in one visit and his dose they r fine again in a day.

I visited Dr Vipul solely on basis of feedback from other patients on practo and Dr Vipul is truely above the feedbacks he received.

I was worried about condition of my daughter Zoya and the way Dr Vipul listen our concern and advised us the best remedy as well as the medicines was worth visiting him.

Best thing I liked was the time he devoted to our concern and prescribed only required basic medicines and that too budget friendly.

In fact my understanding is that if doctor listen to his patient and give proper time half of the illness is cured.

Dr Mehrotra follows a perfect blend of the new age medical science as well as the priceless old school remedies. Our experience of the 1st consultation was satisfactory with our 7 days old son. He gave us sufficient amount of time to ask questions and answered them all, even though we had a little long list. His experience of more than 2 decades along with a soft spoken nature and patience, definately makes him an ideal choice for your kids. I hope our first experience remains to be constant in the future too. All in all, we are very well satisfied with Dr. Mehrotra and would surely recommend others as well to consult him.
