Hello, I got to know about Dr. Vinit Shah around 3-4 years ago when I was searching for the best eye specialist in Borivali. After that, I visited his clinic sometimes for my routine eye checkup. Basically, I was suffering from High Myopia in both eyes. My spectacle numbers were -16.5 and -15.5 in the right and left eye respectively. In addition to that my retina is also very much thin in size. Last month, I decided to undergo IPCL (Implantable Phakic Contact Lens) surgery in both eyes to achieve Spectacle independence and correct my vision up to some extent. So, Dr. Shah examined all the prerequisite tests needed for my eye surgery. Based on that he believed that we could proceed with the surgery. Dr. Shah was extremely helpful and guided me very well through the entire process. He did explain and answer all my queries during that entire time.

Earlier this month, I finally underwent my left eye surgery and then followed by right eye surgery after 10 days. Both surgeries were highly successful. Also, one thing to mention, the process was not very painful and I have recovered quickly by using the topical drops regularly.

Now, I don't need to wear specs anymore and I did realise my vision has also got better with the implantable lens. It was an overwhelming experience for me as I used to wear specs for the last 27 years and now I finally can see things clearly without using specs. I thank Dr Shah from the bottom of my heart as because of him, I'm feeling so happy and confident than ever.

I would also like to thank all the staff members who were so helpful during my surgery and follow-up appointments. Special mention to Sakshi, she was supportive and was one call away for any medication / topical-related queries. Thank a lot again.

Dr. Vinit Shah attended me very politely and asked me about my problems. I was not able to see properly. Every thing was visible blurred to me. I was afraid to walk alone due to such blurred vision. Dr. Shah suggested me for cataract surgery for Rt.eye . He also explained me about the various procedures and the cost involved for the surgery. It was very helpful . I got operated and now I am able see clearly. I am 69 years old and feel very comfortable after the cataract surgery by Dr. Vinit Shah.

He gives enough time to explain each & every detail to the fullest satisfaction & never suggests unnecessary tests or expense. He is advocative of perfection. In my case he referred me to UBMI which is having high precision machine for A Scan to make sure I get the best IOL so that need for post surgery specs gets negligible. I have met so many eye specialists but quite easily say he ticks all the boxes & is the best in the business!! Nice way of explanation,in-house arrangement to facilitate pathological tests, professional staff . We were confused and anxious after visiting at two places. Dr. Binoy Shah not only explained the problem but also the logic and technical details of treatment. That gives us confidence and assurance. I was introduced to Dr.Vinit Shah by my daughter-in-law who had taken her daughter for eye checkup.

My experience was good till today.

After spending 94,700/- rupees for cataract operation of both my eyes as a package deal today the receptionist charged me 580/-rupees for two bottles of TEARPRO drops. I asked for a receipt which she declined to give but she can give a recent as consultation charges which I declined to accept.

This kind of behaviour at the last-minute

leaves a bitter taste after a very good impression.

Dr. Vinit Shah explained the technology and limitations of the treatment in detail in advance, and so well that I was mentally prepared very well and my body responded positively. I was so comfortable at his hands that my surgery seemed to be 'painless' with zero discomfort or after-effects. While working, a plastic material stuck on the left eye of my brother which was unknowable due to the collapse of the retina. As soon as I knew this, I was very scared and soon reached to Dr.Vinit Shah's hospital. Dr.Vinit Shah has taken correct diagnosis of the eye and made sure that Sonography and CT Scan have not detected any small part of plastic inside the eye and only after successful completion of two major surgical operations, Traumatic Cataract and Corneal Perforation.
