"Dr. Vijay Tiwari is a Consultant Head & Neck Cancer and Reconstructive Surgeon with specialised training in the surgical treatment of oral cavity cancers, thyroid cancers, laryngeal cancers, salivary gland tumours, head and neck skin cancers and other complex head and neck conditions. His expertise spans complex resections, neck dissections, microvascular free flap reconstruction, and advanced reconstructive procedures aimed at preserving and restoring speech, swallowing, breathing and facial appearance after cancer surgery. He completed his fellowship in Oral Oncology and Reconstructive Surgery at HCG Cancer Hospital, Ranchi & Sri Siddhartha University, Tumkur, gaining comprehensive training in managing early and advanced head & neck cancers through a multidisciplinary approach, and further refined his microvascular free flap reconstruction skills at Mahavir Cancer Sansthan, Patna, working on complex bone and soft-tissue defects following head and neck cancer surgery."
