Dr. Vijay Deshmukh

Dr. Vijay Deshmukh is a senior Consultant Surgeon at the Asian Heart Institute since 2002, with over 40 years of experience in General, Gastrointestinal, and Trauma Surgery. A former Professor of Surgery at LTMMC Sion Hospital, he now serves as Hon. Professor for DNB. Ranked first in Mumbai University (MBBS 1974), he has earned multiple gold medals, scholarships, and the Pfizer Gold Medal for Best Student. Dr. Deshmukh has held key leadership roles, including Past President of CPS Mumbai and Vice Chairman of APHCO, Tokyo.
