"Dr. Veeresh Kumar Ireddy is a DrNB-trained Surgical Oncologist with broad expertise across breast, thoracic, gynaecological, gastrointestinal and hepato-pancreato-biliary cancers. He completed his MBBS at Raichur Institute of Medical Sciences and his MS in General Surgery at Mysore Medical College & Research Institute, gaining extensive laparoscopic surgery training along the way. He served as Senior Resident in General Surgery at SIMS&RC Mangaluru and MMC&RI Mysuru, and as Assistant Professor of General Surgery at Navodaya Medical College, Raichur, before completing his DrNB in Surgical Oncology at BLK-Max Superspeciality Hospital, New Delhi, where he trained extensively in robotic surgery on the Da Vinci Xi platform under Dr. Surender Kumar Dabas. At the Indian Cancer Congress 2023 in Mumbai, he presented a surgical video on Total Robotic Low Anterior Resection that was well received by peers. His key interests include thoracic, gynaecological, gastrointestinal, HPB, breast and endocrine cancers, with a special focus on minimally invasive surgery, cytoreductive surgery, HIPEC and VATS procedures."
