Visited Dr. Kumta for prenatal care and delivery of my wife Shashi from almost 1st month of her pregnancy. Dr. instilled such confidence in us that we never felt any concern for well being of mother or baby. At every stage of pregnancy she explained everything patiently. I have been visiting Dr Sonal kumta from the day I found out about my pregnancy .
From the beginning itself I found her extremely approachable . She didn’t enforce any additional tests and the way she dealt to the pregnancy was very systematic
She was very patient with all the queries I had, and also gave me immense support and courage till the day I delivered.
Her team at Fortis hospital mulund ( Dr Sonoli , Dr Shivani ) ensured a safe delivery and I was very well taken care of throughout my stay there.

I am 37 years old and conceived my first baby a few months back. I visited Dr. Sonal Kumta, who asked about my health history and suggested all necessary tests. She explained everything in detail and answered all my questions, which is amazing because she takes care of her patients very well. My case was a high-risk pregnancy, so all the necessary tests were done on time. In the third trimester, my platelets went severely down and I had been asked to get admitted; however, with the help of Fortis Hematologist right treatments were given to increase the platelet count. Dr. Sonal was fully prepared for all scenarios and we were explained all possibilities in detail for delivery. Very safe delivery was done considering all risks for my health and also for the baby's health. We are very thankful to meet such an amazing doctor.
