Dr. Sohail Nrupal Kothare

Dr. Sohail Kothare graduated from B.J. Medical College, Pune. He completed his post graduation from J.N. Medical College, Belgaum and obtained his D.N.B degree from the world-renowned Aravind Eye Hospital, Pondicherry. He did a short-term cataract training course from the well known Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya, Chitrakoot. He then went on to complete a long-term advanced phaco and refractive surgery fellowship from the reputed Wavikar Eye Institute under the able guidance of Dr. Wavikar himself. Dr. Sohail Kothare has been practicing clinical ophthalmology since 2011 and has vast experience in performing a variety of outpatient and surgical ophthalmic procedures. He has been involved in a lot and fellowship tenure. He has been a part of national and international workshops and symposia. He has had presentations at various state and national conferences and published articles in many reputed national journals. He has a keen interest in research work and likes to keep himself updated with the latest advances and innovations in ophthalmic practice.Dr. Sohail Kothare is a proud life member of the prestigious All India Ophthalmological Society (AIOS), Bombay Ophthalmologists’ Association (BOA) and Association of Medical Consultants (AMC).
