Dr. Shounak Parekh

Our family has been consulting Dr. Shounak Parekh and availing services of Parekh Eye Hospital since several years.

This time around we got cataract surgeries performed for our parents. Our experience, as always, was fantastic. The key drivers of rating our experience as fantastic are the following:

1. Efficiency/skills of Dr. Parekh in assessment of ailment and performing surgeries. My parents' one eye each were operated 8 months ago and they are enjoying great vision with both eyes operated on 5th Sep 2015 and 5th May 2016.

2. Dr. Parekh's genuine concern for the patient's wellbeing and suggesting only the necessary treatment.

3. Dr. Parekh's maturity in understanding and handling pain endurance capacity, impatience and other attributes of each patient of varying age and background during consulting and/or surgery. My father is an extremely difficult patient to handle and I get scared taking him to any hospital. However, my dad was all cheerful through the entire process with Dr. Shounak Parekh.

4. Reasonably priced services. The highlight, unlike most healthcare establishments in India, are fixed prices displayed on the notice board. This reflects admirable ethical standards.

5. The entire team of Parekh Eye Hospital is very efficient and warm towards patients and those who accompany patients.

Very pleasing experience with the entire staff and Doctor. Doctor Shounak Parekh explained various options available in cataract surgery and its pros and cons. Finally, considering all facts relating my health and family background helped me in choosing best options for cataract surgery. I and my family members are very much impressed the way we are treated and grateful for the guidance and assistance.

He takes out the time to explain the issue very extensively in very easy to understand terminology , which puts you at ease instantly. He has treated me for head pain caused because of continuous change in my eye number and he's really good in his practice and he explains very well what issue you have with your eye and gives the right medicines and if any exercises needed to be done He's very warm with his approach to the patients and Very Friendly Doctor

I have been going to Dr Parekh since the last 12 years. I first went to him since he was the only doc who was willing to see me after I had a sever bad lens solution related infection. I had severe impacted vision. Over the next two years he helped not only eradicate all effects of that significant infection but also stabilise the power of my eyes and is now also my daughter’s fav!!

Very open and upfrontly explained t urgency of doing t surgery.he made t patient feel comfortable n he also informed us that t tests suggested could be done at his clinic.was very friendly n caring towards the patient.also systematically explained t procedures he would be carrying out before recommending the surgery.

The doctor had in place a Sanitizer for all incoming patients which is extremely important for eye care.

Dr. Parekh's staff is courteous and offered a refreshment.

I was a bit late for my appointment .

I was taken in for preliminary testing and thereafter was seen by Doctor.

He was quickly able to give me a diagnosis, a treat -ment and tests necessary to be done.

I am better now, though cure will take a while

Dr explained my daughter's eye problem his treatment was a complete evaluation of what my little one required,another Opthalmolgist in vicinity didn't bother to evaluate her problem ** * ***** ** ****** ********* ** *****
