I would not recommend Dr Shilpa Nayak after our visit. We paid Rs 5,000 for my father’s allergy test on 8 September following our physician’s referral. My concern was that we left with dietary instructions my father could not fully hear, and our request for clarification was not resolved.

My father is over 70, wears a hearing aid, and has diabetes and other health problems. We told the assistant and doctor about his hearing difficulty. During testing, I asked questions about the procedure but did not feel my questions were welcomed. Afterwards, the doctor explained the procedure mainly to me while my father also tried to ask questions. I understand speaking to me, but he needed to understand his own food restrictions.

He was advised to avoid several foods for one month, including milk products, egg, chicken, urad dal and walnut. I was told she was in a meeting and would call back. Nobody explained that she was attending a medical conference. When I reached her, she directed me to our general physician, although he had referred us to her. I sent her report and questions again.

I would have understood being told she was busy and would answer later. Instead, I was left trying to work out which foods my father should avoid.

The clinic’s changing answers were never addressed, and the food question remained unanswered. I expected the doctor to help us understand her instructions, especially as we asked the following day. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend her.

Tells you to get tests done but never explains the reports. Didn’t give any clarity on what to do regarding the issue. Consultation was of no use as received no response

While we had a confirmed booking, Doctor consultant had a flight to catch and hence was very much in hurry. Did not even do a physical checkup of my child who is suffering from consistent cough and runny nose. She looked to hurry in and recommend some tests for further investigation.. Which looked a bit strange. I was looking to expect a detailed assessment considering that she is a specialist some quality inputs and willingness to address concerns of the parents. But came away completely disappointed. I hope she reads this and makes amends for future instances

I recently visited Dr. Shilpa to discuss my severe allergic reaction history, as I was concerned about traveling abroad. She was incredibly helpful and reassuring, explaining all the emergency measures I should take in case of a severe reaction when hospitals may not be readily available in a foreign land.

Additionally, she provided me with all the necessary documentation to carry my medicines. Thanks to her guidance and support, I now feel confident and less worried about managing my severe allergy while traveling abroad. Thank you, Doctor!

Both the doctor as well as the nurse Mrs.Kushalkar were equally cordial and professional. I was able to explain my issues based on which a detailed allergy test was conducted. Subsequent to the outcome of the test, customised medicine would be provided (not immediately. I am told to come and collect or they can courier it) The doc gave a lucid explanation of the diagnosis results and how it can be arrested. She will proceed only once the patient is throughly convinced with the treatment. I can only comment about the outcome once my treatment starts.
