Dr. Shantanu K Kundgir

I recommend Dr. Shantanu K Kundgir. My experience with him was positive and I would suggest others consider his care.

Dr Kundgir, has been treating my family for the past 3 years. He is always very attentive and listens to the problem in detail before giving his diagnosis. He always makes himself available in case of urgency. His approach is warm and he makes the patient feel relaxed, no matter how disturbing the medical issue is. He recently treated my husband for intense pain in his shoulder. He treatment and practical advise helped my husband immensely .

Quick, Prompt, friendly and not excessive intrusion, he was busy at the appointed time and called me up to reschedule and then he kept his time without making me wait. He dealt with issue at hand the best and professional way he could. Now we have to wait for two weeks for the bone to heal and then we will know if it is value for time and money.

I had a very unpleasant experience here. I was charged ₹2,000 for a consultation a day previously and ₹6,500 for a fracture bandage with no real treatment or relief provided.

I have a minor hairline fracture near the fourth toe of my left foot (as mentioned by him) *** ******* *** ******* ** **** * **** ***** **** * ******** ***** **** ** ** ***** * *** ** ****** **** ** ******** ***** **** ******** *** ***** * ********* **** ******** ****** *** ** ******** **** ********** ******** * *** *** ******* ******* ** *** **** ***** ******* ** *** ******* **** **** **** ***** ******* ****, I was still charged fully and told I had wasted his time.

When i asked for my X-ray, so i could consult someone else, the X-ray was marked with a regular ballpoint pen and removed it with cotton and washed with a solution and given to me!

I strongly advise others to be cautious and consider other options before visiting this place. I feel I wasted both my time and money.

I had a 1 PM appointment. The doctor turned up right on time and he was very friendly. Did a detailed examination and took the time to explain the problem. ****** ******* **** *********** ***** *** ******

It has been 3 days since meeting him. I have significant relief from my problem (muscular spasm) and the pain has mostly gone.

I do not recommended the doctor. Seems decision was made hastely by me, before doing proper research. Was fastened a temp plaster to loosen up the swelling and was told to visit a few days later for a permanent cast. I was surprised that for a temporary plaster the fees charged was quite high around 4k.so I was left to my imagination what the permanent cast would have cost for 2nd time. So I took a second opinion and had redone the cast from somewhere else. Felt a bit disappointment.

Dr Shantanu is very friendly *** ***** *** ******* **** ***** He is very confident in diagnosis and prescribes appropriate treatment . He explains and communicates to patients in simple understandable terms.

Due to his timely and correct advise ,my daughter recovered from thigh bone fracture.

I was quite glad to find a doctor on a Sunday to treat my wife’s sprained foot. However the billing process was a bit suspicious. Firstly the doctor said that they don’t accept Cashless and that I will need to get it reimbursed from practo. Also the plaster that he applied seemed a bit inflated cost wise. Earlier I was not being given a bill and was quoted 4400/- and when I insisted for a bill they hiked it to 4800/- with no break up of costs of plaster material. The date was also marked incorrectly on the bill whereas it was correct on the prescription. These kinds of issues (might be harmless) however draw suspicion.
