First of all its been three years to the completion of am I hungry, mindful eating workshop with doc Roshani. It was a beautiful journey and I am a very happy mindful Eater most of the times. I have learnt best of the techniques like scanning mind body heart, balance variety moderation, pausing for few seconds, forgive yourself for the mindless eating episodes -learn and move on, find out your exercise personality and lots more!
Let me share few recent experiences.
So ydy I had been out for a social Dinner and one of the friend (host) insisted alot to eat more and more since she was feeling awkward to continue eating as i stopped very quickly. I told her I eat this much only but still she served in my plate. And I actually ended up eating. I think I was not prepared how to handle the situation as it happened after a long time. However I have now quickly revised mindful eating and now decided to lovingly stop a friend for next time and feeling powerful to handle something like this.
Secondly, today, I was in the midst of searching one very important thing and was not able to find. Meanwhile fried chevda box came into my hand (actually it was like that dabba came walking to me) and I started eating mindlessly as I was very anxious for that missing thing. However, thanks to mindful eating practice, which is like my habit now, I realised after few bites that I am eating for no reason. This is not gonna help me reduce my anxiety!
I have lost almost 10 kg since the time I did mindful eating, and feel really grateful to you doc Roshani! Thank you
I visited Dr Roshani for my Hormonal imbalance which was causing PCOS and irregular mensuration cycle. Instead of giving medicine Dr guided me toward right Diet and healthy life style . I could see the difference even in one month. My mensuration cycle is regular now. I feel healthy and happiness inside me. I am thankful to doctor for making my life medicine free.

Dr. Roshani changed my life. I have been battling PCOS (poly cystic ovary disease) for over 10 years and I have met with many many doctors. Doctors usually prescribe medication without proper explanation and reasoning. Dr. Roshani explained the problem to me in detail and gave me practical suggestions. She asked me to change my diet, my exercise routine, she gave me reasons why and how I can do it. She put me on medication until I can implement these changes. She is very motivating. It gave me a better understanding of my problem and a stronger reason to change my lifestyle. 6 weeks later, after making those changes, my PCOD condition has gone away. I am off all medication. I feel free and liberated. I was able to take ownership of my own life and body and it actually worked!! Today, I feel amazing because I do not have to worry about problems that come with PCOS like infertility, irregular periods, acne, hormone imbalances. This is an emotional moment for me because all doctors had said that this will never go away, you have to learn to manage it. With Dr. Roshani's help, I was able to overcome it. Her holistic approach to medicine is amazing! I would recommend her to anyone who has hormonal problems.
Having completed the 8-week Mindful Eating Workshop with Dr. Roshani Sanghani, one feels a sense of liberation! From being constantly on diet-control, deprivation, restrictions to being in-charge of one's own mind, body, heart and spirit.
This is a wholesome program - it deals not only with eating habits, nutrition and exercise, but also with the right attitude required to make a lifestyle change in a positive way.
I enrolled with the goal of "weight-loss" but the program has delivered lot more to me. I have been able to overcome time-bound eating due to fear of acidity, I am experiencing a positive change in my roles and relationships with my husband and children - which I realised was all a function of the negative restrictions that the diets imposed on me.
Dr. Roshani has led us through the program in a very friendly and informal manner, including her own stories, learnings from Vedanta and building up around our real life incidents and experiences. I highly recommend this program to each one who is looking for a better quality life.
The approach to diabetes management was refreshing. For a change, the focus was not on increasing or adding medication. Dr Sanghani approached this as a lifestyle disease and suggested changes to be incorporated in my lifestyle ranging from diet to exercise to sleep to manage diabetes.i was able to go off insulin and diabetes drug after 15 years of living with diabetes. Dr Sanghani was very thorough in explaining why these changes had to be made. Now, after 4 months of treatment I feel fitter, healthier and happier because my diabetes is under control. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr Sanghani.
I was under hypothyroidism medication since past 1.5 yrs and just before visiting doctor Roshni, I had got my TSH level increased and thus my previous doctor increased dose of medicine. I was worried that inspite of taking medicine, why TSH is increasing. Then I decided to visit an Endocrinologist. I googled and I got Dr Roshni with so many positive feedbacks on practo. At the same time, I also got her reference from one of my friend and thus I decided to visit her. When I visited her for the first time she asked about my full lifestyle- eating habits sleep patterns, exercise routine, any kind of stress personal or professional and then she asked me to STOP medicine immediately and change your lifestyle and also asked me to have some supplements for nutrition and also to observe hunger/food patterns for few days. This gave me relief because I had thought that she will ask me to go some diff diff kind of tests then come back again and tab tak thyroid ka dawa lete raho :-p but it was entirely different approach and was happy that now atleast I dont have to begin my day with thyroid medicine. Since then I followed her instructions, went back to her, she reviewed my homework :-p and then gave some more instructions and now I will be visiting her again for follow-up. So now since I stopped my medicine and started following her instructions, I am feeling better, less fatigue/weakness, better pms, and giving more attention towards my lifestyle. This is the approach which I am following to treat my hypothyroidism as per her instructions, I hope this shall improve my TSH level and I shall not need medicine in future.
Lastly, thanks to Dr Roshni for being so patient listener and so humble enough that patient can discuss there problem without hesitation. Because these days doctors are only available to provide you medicine for the problem you tell them, they dont try to understand the problem or even try to diagnose right problem or reason behind that problem.

I met Dr. Roshni in Hinduja Hospital n 2016. I've had stress, body ache and weight management issues for many years. Just a conversation with Doctor and you know she understands what you're going through. She recommended me a book to read, "You can heal your life" by Louise Hay. I said I'd read it but didn't get down to read it until a few months ago. That book changed my perspective on life and I've been very well both physically and mentally since then after following the exercises in the book. Only regret would be that I did not follow doctor's advice immediately. Thank you Dr. Roshni
Anyone with diabetes should simply go to Dr Roshani & her Asaan clinc Immediately. Her approach is dynamic,holistic & practical. Stressing that exercise & stress management are so crucial in controlling diabetes, she has an exercise area and a resident emotional counsellor in the clinic. There are also twice monthly classes to teach how to control & live with diabetes. Most striking is her compassion & absolute determination to get her patients on the right track & ability to give confidence that diabetes can be controlled & need not take over your life. I have recently taken a very poor woman to her who was at times exasperating but I was struck by Dr Roshani's refusal to give up on her & her perceptiveness in getting to the root of the problem & identifying the emotional reasons preventing the patient from dealing with her issues. She has been more than generous and frankly I've been deeply moved by her compassion. Please, just go there! Thank u Dr Roshani & your entire team.
I liked the doctor's approach of not over medicating for the sake of it. The doctor adjusted my existing dose instead of making me needlessly purchase a higher concentration of the same medicine and end up wasting my current stock which was very thoughtful. Very friendly and warm person, helped getting examples of her own experiences while translating it into a solution for me. She suggested making some small lifestyle adjustments and working on managing stress better which was wise advice. No needless tests recommend either. Look forward to my next visit.
