Dr. Purushottam Vashistha

I was admitted to Dr. Hiranandani Hospital due to high blood sugar and vomiting diarrhea and frequent abdominal cramps under the treatment by Dr. Vishal Chopra (Diabetologist). Dr.Purushottam Vashishta was referred for the treatment of gastroenteritis symptoms. I was discharged upon stabilization of blood sugar and gastroenteritis conditions. I further took appointment with Dr.Purushottam Vashista for follow up at Hiranandani Hospital and had detailed discussions of my repeated and persistent conditions. He suggested me to carry out investigation tests for root cause by stool test (Routine Examination of stool, Occult blood stool, Opportunistic infection panel test and Clostridium Difficile.). Investigation revealed the presence of Oocysts of Cryptosporidium species presence and 5 days medications healed my conditions with reconfirmation of absence of Oocysts of Cryptosporidium by repeated stool routine and Cryptosporidium smear test. I am thankful to Dr.Purushottam Vashista for giving excellent consultancy on my conditions and treating me with simple tests and medications instead of complex and costly techniques. Dr Purshottam Vashishth is ingenuous i.e. very frank, trusting, honest and capable of solving patient problems. Infact, with his treatment I'm feeling better and almost alright now. I thank him.

Very nice of him.l like his treatment,when he finds l have hcv,he didn't care for other tests, start giving medicine of hcv,that l like most ,

In other hospital they threaten me that it is big disease and treatment will take long time,you do other tests like endoscopy,enteriscopy,liver scan,blood test cost 18000/_ Rs. ,l did all above test, then they sag now admit in hospital for further tests to be done...

So here doctor say no other test, take this medicine you will be alright within 3,4 months.

Dr Vashisht not only listened to my daughter’s major health concerns but also asked several questions leading her to discuss the condition in detail

He did not jump straight to endoscopy but gave us confidence that we need to go stepwise and then take a call

He explained the reasons for disease and highlighted that diseases like Ulcerative Colitis are lifestyle diseases triggered by stress. He explained that rather than relying only on increasing medicines (or switching to stronger medicines) to control UC, one also needs to reduce stress by traditional yoga and meditation.

He was very supportive of our decision to also do yoga / meditation simultaneously with ongoing medication. In fact, based on positive results I have seen, he has recommended same yoga/ meditation course to his other patients as well.

Myself Sharad is visiting Dr.Purushottam Vashishtha from January 2021 for my Liver treatment and as on today in November 2024 , I am feeling well with his treatment. However to get best results of medicines prescribed by him one should Quit Alcohol totally to avoid future complications.

First time I visited Dr. Vashistha, he easily figured what was wrong with me. I was promptly advised treatment and some tests. He is calm when explaining the problems to you, would generally only advise medicines to help ease an escalated ailment. He is always straight to the point and wouldn't spend time talking about irrelevant subjects during diagnosis.

Recommended for Gastro and Liver related issues.

One of my elder family member got admitted and doctor didnt visited him in ward room, however when we checked the bill we were charged with his 'daily visiting fees. We questioned to him and he answered that he checked the report in his lab and hence the charge. We again questioned that it is separately charged as procedure cost then why visiting charge again for the same day?
