Dr. Prathmesh Mehta is an accomplished and highly experienced Cataract, Refractive and Cornea transplant surgeon. He completed his training in ophthalmology in Feb 2010 from the world-renowned Aravind Eye Hospital. As he has special interest in transplant surgery, he took further training in Cornea specialty from Aravind Eye Hospital. At this young age, he has performed vision-restoring surgery for more than 16000 patients. He has trained several national and international budding surgeons in cataract and corneal transplant microsurgery. He has headed Cataract department in Aravind Eye Hospital and Cornea department at Vasan Eye Care and Chaithanya Eye hospital.. He was senior surgeon at Ojas Eye Hospital, Bandra, Mumbai for 3 years. He has presented in various national and international conferences and is an invited speaker in various meetings. Recently he went to Cambodia as a part of Khmer Sight Mission to provide free vision-restoring surgeries to the natives.
