Dr. Prashant M Mullerpatan

He has been in practice as an independent consultant in surgical oncology (cancer surgery) since 2007.His core specialty and area of interest is Gastrointestinal, Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Cancer Surgery. He is equally adept in Head & Neck (Oral) Cancers, Gynaecological and Breast Cancers.He completed his Masters in Surgery from Tata Memorial Hospital (the most leading Cancer Institute in India) in 1997, followed by residency programme in surgical oncology at Tata Memorial Hospital.He thereafter worked in Lilavati Hospital in Gastrointestinal (GI) and Hepatobiliary (HPB) cancer surgery and completed his fellowship in this specialty.He has also visited the University Hospital, Nagoya, Japan for Fellowship in Gastrointestinal (GI) and Hepatobiliary (HPB) cancer surgery.He has worked in major hospitals in the UK for over 3 years in Gastrointestinal Cancer and Breast surgery before returning to India in 2007. Since then he has been performing major cancer surgeries successfully.Dr Mullerpatan has also been an ex faculty in surgical oncology at the MGM Hospital, Kamothe, Navi Mumbai.
