Dr. Milind M. Navalakhe

Dr. Prof. Milind Navalakhe graduated from T. N. Medical college, University of Bombay in 1992. Dr. Milind did his post graduation in ENT from Seth GS Medical College and KEM. Hospital, University of Bombay in 1996, After post-graduation in ENT he joined the same institutions as a lecturer, where he continued to work for 11 years. After this he has worked at TN Medical College & BYL Nair Ch. Hospital as Associate Professor fr 13 years. He has various articles to his credit in national and international medical journals. He has worked extensively on endoscopic sinus surgery, as endoscopy in ENT has been his passion. His interest in endoscopy motivated him to enter into salivary gland endoscopy, sial endoscopy, a relatively new subspecialty in ENT. He had his training in sial endoscopy at University of Erlangen, Germany. He has been invited for lectures and sialendoscopy live surgery workshops in India and abroad. He was the first ENT Surgeon in private practice in India to start Sialendoscopy in 2008.He also has special interest in ear microsurgery, cochlear implants and Baha. He has conducted awareness programme for parents of hearing impaired children in deaf schools in different places in Maharashtra. He has been faculty at many workshops and conferences, scientific meets. He has a large series of endoscopic DCR. He has created an international educational cd on endoscopic DCR. He is Professor, in the Department of ENT, Seth GS Medical college & KEM Hospital, Mumbai which is the most prestigious health education institute of India. He is visiting Senior ENT Consultant at Global Hospitals, and Wockhardt Hospitals (South Mumbai) in Mumbai and has his private clinic in Parel, Mumbai.
